Mr. Walker has more than 30 years of experience in the design and design/build industry. Mr. Walker’s diverse portfolio has evolved beyond his basic design skills and today includes sustainable design, value engineering, building code analysis and building code compliance. Mr. Walker has in depth experience in forensic investigations and documentation of building envelope failures including roofs, windows, foundations and, cladding.

Mr. Walker is an architect in eleven states including all the New England states except for Maine and New Hampshire. Mr. Walker is a member of the American Institute of Architects and holds a Bachelor of Architecture from the Cooper Union and a Master of Science in Architecture from The Pennsylvania State University. Mr. Walker is a member of the International Building Code Committee on Standards for Residential Construction in High-Wind Regions (coastlines).

In addition to his residential and commercial light wood frame building experience, Mr. Walker has extensive experience in pre-engineered building systems and historic renovations. His experience includes commercial and corporate low-rise office buildings, apartments, schools, residences, shopping centers and manufacturing facilities.

Mr. Walker has two grown children and lives with his wife in South Dartmouth. He is an active neighborhood volunteer and member of the Russell’s Mills Historic Commission.

As an architect, Mr. Walker enjoys the challenge of creating sustainable, interesting, and simple architectural solutions that generate comfortable and memorable spaces.
