When it came to the work, his team worked an average of two hours a day for four months to replace a 600 sq. Ft. paver patio with a pavilion. A HUGE project with tremendous potential for a new, growing business. His team would show up around 11a, leaving at 12:30-2p and working until about 3pm. Austin (owner) never showed up to the work site to check in on team or to oversee work as the crew completed the project. > > Austin did not pay attention to the details of ordering pavers or additional materials despite 6mo++ Of project planning. Everything was last minute and after persistence from us as customers regarding project start date a details of the project completion. > > When project began, His crews laid two different paver sets before realizing there was not enough pavers in stock. He then directed the team to lay pavers that were never approved by us. > > The company began our project 5 months after projected start date and he directed the team to work through winter (project completed in January) which wrecked havoc on the final patio project. > > After the patio was laid, the team then dig up patio to anchor 12x12 pavilion. Which is build outstanding but by a separate (outsourced) team member. (The quality of our pavilion is the reason for an extra star review). As a result, all corners of the pavilion are not level and water pools in all areas of our patio. After the pavilion was built, the team never cleaned or finalized the final project, or came for final inspection. There was no pride taken in the work. Additionally, We had to hire another company to power wash and seal our patio as well as to fix unleveled areas of our patio. > > As mentioned, Several spots of our patio are not level and each time it rains we have several inches of water. We have reached out to Austin on several occasions (he has a contract that states he guarantees workmanship up to a year) and he states he is "unsure why we have issues" and "he has never seen issues such as these". He also stated many times throughout the project (and during attempts to communicate for revisits) that he is "ill" and we should contact him at a later date. He is quite ill, quite often. > > His workers were very kind and coachable, they were receptive to our feedback when we crossed paths. It was clear his leadership and oversight is lacking. It's a shame because he has a talented team whom have a lot to offer!!! After talking to others in the community, I wish more would have given an honest review so we too would not have invested thousands of dollars into this company. **★ — HU-280705584, July 2022** > Did a job for us in August and we paid to have some more work done and it’s now December and he hasn’t been back. I reminded him several times and he always promises to be out that week and never shows up. And I think at least a couple of these five star reviews are employees. On top of that this is the “top soil” they threw down. Rocks and glass in it. Real nice for the kids to play on. Also a tree he planted fell over within a day and he came out and propped it back up and said he'd add supports and never did. The trees dead and we paid for it. His crew was amazing! Jason built us a custom pavilion, his attention to detail is breathtaking! They did our landscaping, paver patio in the back with a walkway. Absolutely gorgeous work!
