My rug is primarily red, navy and duck-egg blue. Currently walls are light light gray, woodwork off white, furniture griege, mixed tones of antique wood furniture, hardwood floors neutral and golf course green spills through the wall of windows. Yes I'm ready to add some new color! A: Hi Katy, If you are planning to keep the current rug, you can go with complementary colors that can also be found in the rug itself—blue, tan, etc. The rug should be your segue for the rest of the colors. Add a good neutral base and pops of the colors you choose here and there throughout the space, not just with the pillows.
