I first would like to start by commending TCH on their utmost honesty, high integrity, and professionalism through and through. After critically and extensively researching several other “custom home builders” in the DFW area, i can confidently say that none of them hold a candle next to Thoroughbred. Thoroughbred created a masterpiece of a home that far exceeded our already very high expectations. The quality and scale of our home is stellar- they do not take shortcuts. The materials thoroughbred used to construct the shell of our home, as their standard, typically would cost tens of thousands to upgrade to through other home builders. They truly are not bluffing when they say high quality is their standard, this company sets the bar extraordinarily high. > > Harris and Evan are exceptional construction managers. They both went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect, to ensure to job site was clean each and every day, and most importantly that the jobs were being done right. They kept us informed at all times and made sure jobs were getting done on schedule day in and day out. They were very transparent about costs, and they made the process so easy with the BuilderTREND app. Unlike our experience with other large scale home builders, we were never once blind sided or price gouged when it came to choosing interior finishes. In fact, because of our experiences with other home builders in the area, i can also confidently say that thoroughbred has the most generous allowances when selecting finishes. As someone who is passionate about design- this is where it hit a home run for me. Gina, who leads the design aspect of construction was an absolute pleasure to work with! Gina has excellent taste, class, and vision. She helped guide me through to make the right choices, in addition to steering me away from what could be a bad choice by considering the dynamics of our life…(kids, dogs, etc.) She truly pulled everything together seamlessly without me ever feeling overwhelmed, and i never want to design another house without her!! > > All of this leads me to say that although Thoroughbred Custom Homes is a newer builder to the North Dallas area- they are exactly what this area has been missing.
