We have done the landscaping on three of HCS's custom homes in the Kirkland area. Dan builds amazing custom homes but allows us the freedom to design a landscape around his home design. We would definitely recommend Dan and HCS for any custom home build. **★★★★★ — two4golf, Sept. 2014** > My wife and I hired HCS Construction to build a new home for us in a high profile neighborhood in Kirkland, WA. From the outset the project was a rewarding experience. The owner of the firm, Dan Gillison, is a highly qualified professional. He is committed to providing for the desires of his clients and is interested in integrating his input, where appropriate. We found his experience and practical suggestions to be very valuable to the success of our project. The construction site was organized and very well operated. HCS' subcontractors were experienced and paid attention to details. They were held to strict timelines for their work, which allowed the work to proceed efficiently. There was very seldom a time that someone was not present and working on the project. As a result, costs were more effectively controlled and subs were not in the way of others or waiting for work to be accomplished in front of them. People witnessing the progress of the construction constantly commented on the efficiency and speed with which the project proceeded. This included city officials, as well as neighbors and passers by.
