He lightening up all the old dark woodwork throughout including a coffered ceiling in the entry but then darkened all the wood floors turning those to an rich ebony for a pop. He manages to use modern contemporary art with photography and a little old world charm for grace. He is not funky for the sake of trying to be hip or cool. He is restraint with his whimsey and preserves that for exactly where it needs to be. No whiplash moving from room to room everything flows tastefully and elegantly even though he manages to sprinkle in high and many low items through out with grace.
