This was meant to be the formal living room but they have no need for it so she is going to use it as a space for her 14 & 12 year old sons to entertain their friends. I have already told her the rug placement is wrong so they’re going to fix that. She doesn’t want window treatments because it would block their beautiful view. There will be a shuffeboard table next to the windows after Christmas so the sofa needs to stay in that position. She needs art, lamps and finishing touches. It works well for me and my husband.. but when we have guest this space gets crowded. I am contemplating if I should mount the TV on the wall above the fire place ..it will give us more room for entertaining guests. But I am not quite sure, if that will give us optimal viewing angle. Any advice? A: Is there anyway you can share more pictures of the space? It doesn't seem like the TV above the fireplace would work well in this space but we would want to see the wall opposite the sofa to make sure there isn't another place for the TV to go.
