> For background, our project was a full home renovation with a 8’x25’ two story addition off the back of house. It centered on a new open kitchen/dining room, addition of a 5th bedroom, two bathrooms and touched every room in the house. It included all new windows and siding as well.

> Stacy has done several projects for us, first with a small built-in  closet/shelving redesign back in NJ, then with a complete interior rebuild of our home when we moved states, then a deck the following year, and finally designing an addition and redesigning the exterior a few years later. Each project was meticulously planned, beautifully designed, and thoughtfully executed. She oversees contractors and also manages purchases and deliveries for the project if you're busy. We cannot recommend Stacy and her company highly enough.

> We highly recommend using SKM Design for any renovation project! We purchased a 1928 colonial with 5500 sq ft that needed a full renovation. We were never planning to purchase an older home until we walked into a friend’s house of the same era and we were inspired by the renovation by SKM Design and we knew we could make an older home into the home of our dreams if we could work with Stacy Millman. We wanted to retain the character of the exterior of an older home but an interior space that was fresh and modern but homey and spoke to who we are and how we live our lives all at the same time. It was a very big ask of any professional and it was a long process that took over a year but the end result was much more than we could have imagined for our family. Stacy is a true professional. Not only is she a talented architect but she is also wonderful at listening and hearing what the client wants and making the dream become a reality and NEVER making it feel unattainable or like it is a burden. In our opinion this quality is a true gift. She not only wildly talented but is thoughtful and gracious as well. There are simply no words to express how happy we were to work with Stacy and how confident we are to recommend her!

> We did not use an architect or designer for our previous 2 renovations and I wish we had known Stacy then. We literally have no regrets with the layout or design choices in our current house. We have a 1920’s traditional colonial and she was excellent at marrying the character of our older home with today’s modern amenities. She leaves no stone unturned, keeps her eyes on the budget, works quickly, is a task master and will come up with a design plan that fits your lifestyle and budget. Stacy will also help you refine or identify your aesthetic if you don’t already have one. For our renovation, she facilitated the bidding process and managed our project every step of the way.
