In our first meeting I gave her the task of achieving four primary goals. I wanted her to design a one story home and outdoor living space that would accommodate me now and into the future from a structural standpoint. My second goal was to use elements and materials that were classic and elegant that would stand the test of time and not become outdated. Further, I wanted the colors and materials to be harmonious which would allow me the flexibility to rearrange furniture and seating areas to accommodate a variety of activities. I have a busy life filled with work, home and charitable activities which prevented me from making every small decision on the project.
