> Our experience with Ron DiMauro and the team far exceeded our expectations.  We've worked with two other architects in the past for remodeling projects and neither of them demonstrated the engagement, thoughtfulness and creativity we experienced with DiMauro Architects.  After spending 2 years looking for a small house to purchase for the summer, we met with Ron and Tyler Zagryn and were inspired to purchase land and build.  We were entirely intimidated by the idea of building from scratch but Ron's commitment and the team's partnership with us throughout made it an entirely successful experience.  The plans were the most detailed set of plans our contractor had ever seen, which meant far fewer questions or issues as the project went along.  And before putting pen to paper, they really thought about how we would use the space in order to best align it with our needs.  The quality of their work is top notch and unrivaled.  We feel incredibly fortunate to have found Ron who saw the opportunity in the plot and who delivered to us something we had only dreamed of.

That door is either:
Ben Moore                           718                         Ocean City Blue semi-gloss (very pretty)
But it looks lighter so it may be:
Ben Moore                           AF-515                  Exhale  (light blue gray, pretty)

A: This is Douglas fir with a clear coat on polyurethane in a semi gloss!

What is the dark counter caaled please?

A: Hello!  It is a soapstone - we looked for a slab that had more gray undertones than green (you can tell when you wet the stone at the stoneyard what the real color is).  Hope that helps!

A: We used SW\#7008 Alabaster in semi gloss on the walls/trim and 'Ceiling white' in flat on the ceiling.  Hope that helps!

love the clean look of the window coverings. where did you find a rod that long- i have two huge walls of windows in my bedroom and don't want it to look too busy with multiple panels

A: Hello - we love it too! unfortunately I don't have the information on the window treatments but I can do some digging to see if I can find out for you!

I love the chandelier, but am afraid it's too tall for the 8' ceiling in my dining room.

A: Hi Ellen,
These are closer to 9'-6" in height - so I agree, at 8' the chandelier wouldn't work well.  I believe Thomas O'Brien (through visual comfort / circa lighting) makes a smaller version of this that could work well for you!
