It has been this color (with white trim and a red door) for 30ish years. Needs a new roof, but I'm unsure if I should go lighter or closer to the color of the home. I don't want it to look too heavy. Your posted example looks correct to my eyes. If you know, would you please tell me the brand and color of shingle used on this home? Thank you. A: Hello, I have no idea about the mfr or color of this asphalt shingle roofing for one of my clients. Generally, if you have a dark body color then a light to med grey will look best. Contrast is good. **Q: No hood? Downdraft?** *(in Photo Questions)* I hate range hoods. Considering putting range on outside wall in front of a window. A: This is the first I noticed that there is no hood or downdraft! I am surprised they got away with that, but it is in a very small town in Western Massachusetts so????
