> After completing the construction of our new house in 2012 and subsequent integration of the adjoining acreage in 2016, we hired Landscape Collaborative to manage and perform the the assorted weekly tasks associated with our property. Included in this list are annual fall and spring cleanups, mulching, tree and shrub pruning and lawn care and grass mowing. The Landscape Collaborative has done excellent work for us and we are pleased to have hired them for this second season of work here at our home.

> I live in a condominium in Brookline, MA.  Landscape Collaborative has been taking care of our property for 13 years.  We have extensive lawn areas and hedges that require expert maintenance.  The crew that comes weekly does a fabulous job cutting, trimming, planting annuals, etc.  They are polite and very helpful.  Michael Piering, the owner works closely with us suggesting improvements we can make to the property.  LC also handles our snow plowing needs in the winter.  Many landscapers cannot handle a large property.  LC makes it look easy.  They are meticulous.  I highly recommend them.

Our property looks better then it ever has before and gets better each year.  Their stone guys do amazing work.  Its not just management, everyone that comes to our house is a total pleasure and works super hard.  We can't recommend them highly enough.  Houzz should really delete that one bad review because there is no way its an honest assessment of this company.

> Mike Piering is a dishonest contractor and I would never recommend this company to anyone. We hired him for 3 years and the service became worse and more unprofessional each subsequent year. He managed our installation from inception and sold us on combined services of landscape maintenance, pest management and fertilizer treatment. Unfortunately he did not manage any of his subcontractors. The fertilizer company fertilized the lawn and then his crew arrived to mow the grass an hour later rendering the fertilizer treatment useless. Many of the schrubs and trees he planted had severe insect damage which I repeatedly called him about and they were left untreated and I ended up paying over one thousand dollars on treatments and replacement of the shrubs. He planted a tree which was never healthy and continued to tell me for two years he would replace it only to say at the end of season 3 that it looked fine. He warrantied the perennials that did not grow in year 2 only to go back on his warranty and never replace them. The crew repeatedly mowed the grass when it was wet after rainfall, turning the mower over and over on areas where the grass was not growing well creating a huge mud patch.  Finally his crew is so careless and thoughtless they mowed over my children’s baseball bat on the lawn and rather than notify me, they threw it behind my shrubs to hide it. Please refer to photos

Last fall, we moved from the house (too big) and rented the house. Over the year L.C. has taking excellent cars of the lawn, the bushes and the gardens. Even better than I did when I lived there. Michael, the owner, sends thoughtful and useful emails on lawn and garden maintenance throughout the year. These people know plants (from  weeds) and how to care for them during the harsh New England weather. I would highly recommend their services!
