Builders’ Studio was established by Hal Colvin in 2002 to build truly unique homes in any location with extraordinary craftsmanship. With over 30 years in the construction industry and accredited with a degree in Environmental Design from the University of Colorado’s School of Architecture, the owner Hal Colvin has the experience to build your dream home. Inspired by his grandfather’s footsteps as a builder—Hal started in the construction field as a tradesman and moved to estimator, superintendent, project manager, general contractor and now owner of Builders’ Studio.

Builders’ Studio is purposefully organized as a projectized organization. The project manager oversees his project, and he has full authority over it. Everyone in his team reports to him. It is this structure of a business model that allows the builder to focus 100% of their attention on the construction of your home. Producing results in efficient cost, control, scheduling and attention to details. 

Custom home building is unique with a more “team-oriented” approach and differs from multifamily, commercial, and industrial construction. Building strong open communication lines between our clients and their representative’s, architects, and interior designers allows for more creative and inspired process during the construction of the home ultimately seen in the final result of a well-built home. Coordinating efforts across functional lines with intuitive ability for rapid response to the flexible nature of the custom home
