Owner,  Charles Sheridan started in the custom cabinetry business in 1983. For the past 34 years Charles has been a hands on master craftsmen and cabinetry designer with the ability to create some of the most beautiful and unique state of the art living spaces that will turn your home or business into a masterpiece.  
 
CJS specializes in cabinetry and woodworking for the whole house, including custom kitchens baths, home offices, libraries and home theatre. All of our projects are carefully planned using one of the industries leading design software programs which helps make the designs easy to communicate and understand.

> What started as a kitchen and bath remodel turned into us taking the house down to the studs.   We hired a general contractor but were not comfortable with who he partnered with from a custom cabinet perspective.  Seemed like he took a lot of cheap shortcuts.  While our home was much more modest, my wife fell in love with the cabinet styles she had seen at a party we attended in a home in the Sherwood Country Club development.  She took a picture and wanted a similar design.

> So we interviewed all of the custom cabinet companies within 50 miles of us.   Charlie from CJS was an easy choice.   You could tell he knows the  business inside out.  He listens - wanting this to be YOUR masterpiece, not just his idea.  He showed us a portfolio of his work and wouldn't you know it - he was the guy who did the Sherwood home (turns out he did a high percentage of the homes there).  I was worried about price but he was in the range of the other guys and at a much higher quality.

> We ended up doing all of our kitchen cabinets, an island, a home entertainment built in (wall to wall), laundry cabinets, 2 bathrooms, all of the crown molding throughout the house and he also did an upstairs built in office.  All of it was gorgeous! He suggested darker kitchen cabinets with a lighter washed island for contrast and it is beautiful.  My office built-in has a very rich cherry finish.

> Charlie knows his craft like no other.  The way he sketches out options right in front of you you'd swear he's more of an artist.  He has a great personality.  He is prompt - when he says he will be there he is, as will his crew (Peter did our staining and several years later the cabinets are still gorgeous).  We've had so many flaky contractors (if anyone can find my plumber he still owes us work) that it was just a huge relief for one to be reliable.  Best of all, he made suggestions for configuring our upstairs master bath with a built-in steam shower that we wanted that our General Contractor couldn't figure out how to make it work.  He really turned out to be our guide on the whole project, and we can't thank him enough.
