On other items, we had specific ideas in mind, and Mike and crew were able to replicate them, even down to constructing the vanity we wanted in the space. We hired Lewis & Co in January to do our biggest project yet: cutting down a very large and healthy oak tree our dilapidated two-story deck was built around, tearing down the deck, and then rebuilding a new one. After this project and looking back at all the repairmen and contractors we worked with the past 3 years, I wish we had had Lewis & Co do them all! They did such an incredible job. Mike came and gave us a very fair estimate for doing the tree and the deck. I had no idea he himself would be the one to climb the very tall tree and carefully cut it down piecemeal. The tree was very close to our house and we were terrified to have someone cut it down. It was truly incredible how he did it without any damage to our house. The tree was huge. The new deck looks better than we expected. They also repaired the siding where our deck was built against the house. Throughout the job, Mike was easy to communicate with and always answered our questions promptly and politely. They made sure the yard (including our walking stones and drainage pipes) was repaired from where the largest trunk of the tree fell. All the mess and trash were cleaned up. The price for the job was very fair and worth every penny for the quality we received. We will be using Lewis & Co. for our next job. A: Hey Drew that is rough sawn cedar with no finish we use this material often and have several other projects on our houzz profile where we incorporated this material into outdoor living areas. We usually seal it with PPG flood. I really like the product. The first picture below is at my personal home. **Q: Blank wall** *(in Design Dilemma)* Still moving in and adding furniture/wall decor. Do you think I need a book case or will it look OK with photos or art. Any other type of furniture I should buy to go in this place? The TV will be mounted on the wall. A: I would make the TV float on a reclaimed/roughsawn wood accent wall to add some contrast/interest like we did on this wall.
