I have received some ideas from local remodelers but don't love the ideas thus far. One recommendation was to simply reglaze the tile in the bathroom (floors and walls) a white color, re-glaze the tub white, remove the sliding glass door and just use a nice curtain, replace the cabinets with newer cabinets (dark brown) and countertop, and paint the room a Revere Pewter or Accessible Biege color. I am open to this. Also, we don't love the window in the shower. What can we do about that? If we remove it, there will be no natural light in the bathroom. Also, where should I get my cabinets? I've looked on Restoration Hardware's sale site and local outlet store and also Home Depot. So many choices. I'd like about 8' of cabinets and RH really doesn't have them that size.
