In 2013 Alex Gerthe joined forces as a part time helper for a couple of months to try his hand at construction work. Both Joe and Alex benefited from the relationship and in January, 2014, they decided to transform Solid Rock Construction into a partnership. Much of our work comes from personal referrals. We were very pleased with the quality of the construction, but I reserve my strongest praise for their honesty, work ethic and integrity. In all honesty, we sensed that our project was bigger than most that Solid Rock had undertaken, and it was one of the first in Denver (which brought unfamiliar permit and inspection requirements). There were multiple delays and surprises, but in all cases Solid Rock explained what was going on, fixed anything that needed to be fixed, and stayed true to their original estimates. Cost, quality and time - I often tell people that you can fix two of those three on an major project.
