I switched in 1985 to wooden houses as there became fewer wooden yachts available. I now work in the greater Seattle area. It was pretty tricky -- black paint, white trim -- and there was not a spot where either color bled into the other. Great job, pleasant people, good price -- I heartily recommend! **★★★★★ — larrynancy1, Dec. 2015** > Our two story wood frame home had paint bubbles for years and 2 different painters could not solve the problem(s). Bruce did! He is an expert troubleshooter (a rare skill) and would not start the job until he understood the root cause of our bubbles. This involved some experimenting but in the end his solution has worked perfectly. We are two plus years without a single problem area! > Not only did he solve our longstanding problem (took one side down to original wood) but he did a perfectionist quality job. His approach is classical in all respects wherein he uses a hand brush and applies two coats. His attention to detail includes caulking in every possible area. One thing I learned from him is that you do not paint in hot sun as the paint dries too quickly on the surface and this compromises the adherence at the wood/paint interface. His solution? Drape the side of the house and shield it from the sun. When he was done it was like he had given us a new warm coat for winter plus some nice gloves and a hat! The work was thorough, complete and very tidy. For instance they scraped the old paint off by hand rather than using water pressure. They also painted the house using paint brushes the entire time rather than spraying the paint on. They put on a prime coat and two coats of the actual colors/trim. They arrived on time each morning and worked the entire day only taking a break for lunch. They did not juggle jobs. Previously they painted the common living areas in the interior of my house (living/dining/kitchen and hallway) with two coats of paint. Tidy, thorough and totally trustworthy.
