Steven Kaye of Paper Craft Interiors, Inc. has had the pleasure of installing wallpaper, fabrics, and murals for residential and commercial clients throughout the Chicagoland area since 1977. During this time, numerous decorating trends have come and gone.

Yet, the one thing that has remained is our commitment to providing the highest quality craftsmanship with the utmost attention to detail, along with the finest customer service.

Wallpaper continues to be an important part of home decorating. A well-chosen wall covering can add pattern and scale to a room, as well as provide a backdrop for your furnishings, in a manner that paint alone cannot.

Our services include paper hanging, wallpaper removal (stripping), wall repair and the associated preparation for the installation of wallpaper, wall fabrics, and hand printed or digital murals. We welcome inquiries from homeowners, general contractors, residential builders and interior designers.

> Steven was referred to me by a good friend. She needed someone to redo a previously botched installation that need replacing. This is what we experienced. A trained professional, from start to completion. At our first meeting we discussed the potential issues and solutions to my questions, plus he gave me some ideas that he incorporated into the project. On installation day, Steven arrived at the at the arranged time, set up equipment needed, didn’t waste time. His training and experience showed . I only wish I could show you a before and after photo WOW!!

**Comment from Paper Craft Interiors, Inc:**

> Thank you Margi, for such a wonderful review. It was a pleasure working for you.

> Steven is a true craftsman who cares about his work, and it really shows. He's fair, prompt, very detailed, and a really nice person to boot. He thoroughly explained his process beforehand, answered our many questions, and made sure everything, from placing the first panel of paper to custom painting the screws of the dimmer plate to match the paper, was perfect. We are ecstatic with his work on our dining room, would hire him again in a heartbeat, and highly recommend him for any and all of your wallpaper needs.

**Comment from Paper Craft Interiors, Inc:**

> Tim and Liz, Thank you for your overwhelming review. I really enjoyed working for you. I should have taken before and after photos of your dining room. Well the 3 of us know what it looked like before. Now you're on your way to having a beautiful dining room.

> There are people who say they can hang wallpaper and then there are people who ONLY hang wallpaper because it's their profession, which has been perfected over years. That is Stephen Kaye, Paper Craft Interiors. Every part of the process was seamless! From the initial interaction where he responded promptly to my message, to answering all my questions, to providing a detailed and fair quote all the way through to the install. He was meticulous with the set up in the home, arrived exactly in the window of time he gave me and made it very easy and enjoyable to have in my home for three days. But above and beyond all of that, his work is perfection. I was nervous about going from paint to wallpaper, (which I ended up doing in all three bathrooms), but have ZERO regrets, other than wishing I had done it sooner! He works with even the trickiest of papers and will also hang murals, which requires true skill and expertise. Everyone who has seen the hung paper has commented on his flawless it is. Stephen is the best, just know you might have to wait a little bit to get him as his schedule is always full! Don't wait, contact him today!

**Comment from Paper Craft Interiors, Inc:**

> We had a great experience with Paper Craft Interiors. Steven put up wallpaper in our downstairs half bath. Would definitely work with him again. Steven was very responsive over email leading up to the project and laid out a clear estimate with no surprises. He showed up exactly when he said he would and was efficient in set up and tear down/clean up of the work site. Very happy with the result.

**Comment from Paper Craft Interiors, Inc:**

> Steven was very detailed prior to the onset of the project, asking questions and providing timelines. On the day of the project, he arrived exactly on time. He kept his tools, equipment, and work area very organized during the installation. Most importantly, the finished product and installation was absolutely amazing and perfect. Steven did a phenomenal job and we are extremely happy.

**★★★★★ — Ashley Studt, Feb. 2020**

> I previously hired Steven to hang wallpaper in my power room back in August 2018. He did an excellent job then, so I knew I’d hire him again for a bedroom in my house. He is punctual, professional and highly skilled at hanging wallpaper. The mural wallpaper I chose was scaled to the size of my walls, so I needed to order the exact measurements. Steven was able to quickly come to my house for a measure/quote while the wallpaper was on sale, which saved me hundreds of dollars. The end result is beautiful! My vision for the room really came to life.

**Comment from Paper Craft Interiors, Inc:**

> Dear Ashley,
> Thank you for such a wonderful review. I truly appreciate coming back to your home\>
> Best Regards, Steven Kaye

> Steven is the only wallpaper hanger I will use for any of my projects! His knowledge and skill is far above and beyond anyone I've worked with. As a custom Painting Contractor for 20 years working in high end homes it is absolutely necessary to have perfection. Paper Craft Interiors has flawlessly hung various wallpapers in bedrooms, bathrooms, game rooms, ceilings, dining rooms, and offices for me over the years and will continue to do so. Hiring Steven comes with a piece of mind that you have hired the best out there!
