We then chose the style of legs from antique machine lathe supports, and with Daniel's imagination and engineering he created a table for eight to ten that impresses everyone who visits our house. > > Daniel brought a practical zen to his design telling us to trust him that "the wood would tell me how to shape to table" and "that every beautiful tree is unique and that we must be open to design with the shapes of the boards in mind." > > We let Daniel go with minimal constraints, and we could not have more blown away by the results. I was able to visit his warehouse and he provided expert advice in selecting the right wood for my project.
