### Reviews

**★★★★★ — Abdo Pierre Faissal, Nov. 2025**

> Doug went above and beyond for my listing. He accommodated a tight schedule and timeline without hesitation, and the entire process felt seamless. His eye for design is unmatched. Doug selected the perfect furniture and accessories to complement the style of the unit and the aesthetic of the neighborhood, creating a warm, cohesive look that photographed beautifully and elevated the whole presentation.
>
> His communication, professionalism, and follow-through were exceptional. The transformation made a noticeable impact on buyer interest, and I couldn’t be happier with the result. I highly recommend Doug and his team for anyone looking for thoughtful, high-quality staging that truly makes a difference. Thanks Doug!!

**★★★★★ — Brenda house in the valley, Nov. 2025**

> Doug did a great job helping us stage and prepare the house for sale. His aesthetics are noteworthy and his knowledge of house structures is also commendable.
> WE highly recommend him.

**★★★★★ — Kim Orchen Cooper, Nov. 2025**

> Doug is the only stager you’ll ever need. A naturally talented designer, he’s an absolute pleasure to work with, smart & intuitive and w/o attitude. I’d seen his work yet hadn’t had an opportunity to collaborate. When I reached out, Doug made himself available, accommodated my client’s needs and integrated my requested aesthetic. As he listened, I trusted he understood and knew how to position the property. Like pure magic, he created the exact feel we wanted and the results photographed beautifully. As a true nod to his eye, we received an offer in the first week!

**★★★★★ — John Zelasko, Sept. 2025**

> Doug staged our aunt's 3,000 square foot home, and yard, in Glendale. My aunt had lived in the house since the mid 1960s, and the house had many of the original tile work and carpentry features from the mid-late century 1900s. We painted every inch of the house (inside and out) and changed the flooring. Doug gave us great input on the color schemes and floor choices in that process.
>
> Once the house was emptied and the palate was clean, Doug and his team went to work! He created a timeless feel throughout the house. His style for this home was eclectic. Mid century pieces, traditional pieces, modern pieces. Strategically added paintings to give a color pop in each room (without overwhelming). I told my wife that what I appreciated was that it was aspirational (it looked cooler than the home or apartment you were moving from).
>
> Doug was easy to work with. He was excited about the project from the get go (you could tell he had a vision for what the space could be before we completed the updates). He did everything on the timeline promised. The place looked fantastic in photos. We even used the staged living room photo as the thumbnail on the listing.
>
> We were introduced to Doug through our agent, and we could not have been happier.

**★★★★★ — Suzie Weidling, June 2025**

> I met Doug in February 2025 during one of the most turbulent periods of my life. I had just been displaced from my apartment in the Palisades due to the fires, while simultaneously navigating the emotional upheaval of a divorce and having moved out of my family home the year before. I was overwhelmed, disoriented, and emotionally drained. I needed a true home—for myself and my daughter, and I needed it fast.
>
> Doug came highly recommended, and from our very first meeting, I understood why. He didn’t just bring expertise—he brought heart, presence, and an intuitive understanding of what we needed, even when I couldn’t articulate it myself. Doug has a gift for putting people at ease. He made me feel instantly supported, like everything was going to be okay.
>
> What truly sets Doug apart is his ability to translate chaos into beauty. He listened deeply—not just to what my daughter and I wanted, but to what we didn’t even know we needed. He visited our old apartment, helped us sort through what to keep, and thoughtfully arranged cherished items like our books and art so they would feel meaningful in our new space.
>
> Then came the magic: Doug and his incredible team handled everything. They sourced, delivered, and assembled every single piece with care and precision. The transformation was amazing. What once felt like an empty shell is now a warm, soulful, and beautiful home.

**★★★★★ — Staging for house, June 2025**

> Doug is one of the rare professionals that not only keeps their promises but exceeds upon delivery. I was referred to Doug by longtime clients of his who were selling a home that he staged. His style is full of style and charm and honed in with top notch pieces that are perfectly placed to key in to discerning buyers. We worked together on a home and he and his entire team put so much care and thought into every aspect of the property. It was a relief and breath of fresh air to work with a team that was as invested in doing a great job like Doug and his crew. He highlighted all the best aspects of the home and the feedback has been incredible. Reliable, positive, with a candor like you’ve known him forever in the best way possible, I wholeheartedly recommend Doug Wiand.

**★★★★★ — Molly Peterson, May 2025**

> I'm new to the world of interior design, and Doug and his team really set the standard -- and then leap confidently above it -- for how to engage with a client like me. They have been creative within my constraints, thoughtful, and surprising -- really meeting needs I didn't know I had for the project.
>
> Communicating about aesthetics is difficult; finding a common language about what's desirable, what's required, and what's neither of those things is tricky. Doug and his team are so good at bridging gaps and eliminating confusion. I appreciated direct and clear communication about how to work within my budget.
>
> Upholstery work we completed together is of an incredibly high quality. Doug has a great eye for lighting in particular and that's one of the most transformative visions he brought to my house.

**★★★★★ — Taylor Kogler, Nov. 2024**

> I originally listed my property without staging, and it just sat there with no real interest. Then Doug Wiand Design came in and worked their magic—the place looked amazing, warm, and welcoming. The change was incredible! Within two days, I had an offer. Doug and his team made all the difference, and I couldn’t recommend them more if you’re trying to get buyers to fall in love with your place.

**★★★★★ — Andrew Adams, Oct. 2024**

> The best - an impeccable sense of style but flexible to accommodate the clients own choices. We’re so happy with the work he designed and get a ton of compliments on the kitchen he made.
> Can’t recommend high enough.

**★★★★★ — starmimi, Feb. 2021**

> As a Real Estate Agent, I have used Doug Wiand for years as my go to stager always with fantastic results. When I decided to sell my own home in the Hollywood Hills where I had been living for 30+ years I called in Doug for a much needed design/update and staging. I gave Doug free rein to "run with it" on my house and I am so glad that I did. Doug's exquisite design sense on the update and then staging transformed my home from "tired" into a vibrant, Mid Century dream....and all of this done staying within our agreed upon budget. My home sold right away and for full asking pricing!!

**Comment from Doug Wiand Design Interiors:**

> Thanks Mimi-I had a blast. You were a perfect client. Let’s do it again!!!

**★★★★★ — cheatherly, Nov. 2020**

> Doug's staging was absolutely amazing! And his team was a dream to work with! They went above and beyond to get the staging just right and they nailed it. I had 26 showings in 4 days and produced 8 offers for my sellers and closed escrow at $150,000 above the asking price in 17 days. The sellers were thrilled! Doug Wiand knocked it out of the park. I would recommend him to anyone who is selling their home in LA.

**★★★★★ — Rebecca Hekmatravan, Nov. 2020**

> Doug was amazing. His staging sold my condo. He is a true artist with good sense of who your clientele is. He knew our location would attract a certain demographic and it did! Doug and his team were an instrumental part of this condo selling. I would use him and his wonderful team again and again!

  - Description: This project was a blast. I have worked with these clients over the years and they are just a lot of fun. They've amassed some family heirlooms, some really great pieces of furniture and some quirky items as well. They really let me lead the way with their only ask being, "Include all of our family pieces, keep it fun and light" and to "not let it get too serious". I know they entertain all the time and really enjoy their home now-I'm just so honored to have been a part of it all.

  - Description: This job really was the perfect job-these clients had just purchased the perfect home for their family. The house had great bones and didn't need a lot of heavy construction. The clients and their young adult children were lovely-we collaborated on everything and they were not afraid to push the envelope. Further, they brought so many gorgeous pieces of furniture, art and accessories to the project-all of which had history in their family and meant so much to them. The end result was a very spec…

  - Location: Pasadena, CA

  - Description: We had a tight fit to make all of this work and a really odd footprint. Because it was a condo, I couldn't enlarge the bathroom window or move the two skylights. However, I had an amazing client who was willing to take a chance with my design to separate the tub and the shower and create a couple different zones all within this very long narrow footprint. It feels amazing to stand in this bathroom and enjoy the natural light.

  - Description: I loved this project. I had amazing clients and a really great team. Our goal was to live with the sky lights in their current location as well as the entry doors and create both a 2 person shower and a soaking tub. It was also important to float the vanity and add some warmer elements with the vanity, cabinet and tub wrap.

## Community Q&A

**Q: What brand is the sink?** *(in Photo Questions)*

what is the width and depth of the sink?

A: I believe I purchased that sink from Elkay-we know longer have the purchasing records for this project. Regarding this image, please note that in order to get both elevations into the shot, there is some distortion on the sink side of the kitchen, which creates the illusion that this sink is much longer than it really is. I hope this helps. Good Luck.

**Q: Where can I find the sofa and what is the material and color? Thanks** *(in Photo Questions)*

A: The sofa was purchased at HDButtercup in Los Angeles, a showroom with a fantastic cash and carry program. It was a last minute decision and purchased for about $1,600. I've been back several times and have yet to see it again on the floor. They rep. a lot of manufacturers and private label companies.

**Q: Great flooring!** *(in Photo Questions)*

What type of flooring did you use and who is the manufacturer?
Thx!

A: It is a ceramic tile distributed by Unicorn Tile, called Pier Blanco. I hope that helps.
