Eco Scapes, Inc. was founded 14 years ago, with a sincere goal to try to help people realize their landscape goals.

The simple goal was to enable, effective environments.

Our intent is to bring you natural landscaping which is both low maintenance and has four season impact. Our services include:

> Vallari transformed my backyard.  I find myself walking my path first thing in the morning and then again throughout the day.  Just meandering through my own yard.  I have a secret path leading to a fibonacci spiral.  Beyond that I wander past a telephone pole that I no longer notice (hooray!) because I am too distracted by my weeping cherries, Japanese Maple and the many textures and colors everywhere I look.  I took a Japanese Gardening class from Vallari at the Morton Arboretum and am so glad I did.  Vallari designed a beautiful garden knowing that I like the meditative feel of a Japanese garden.  She is very knowledgeable about what thrives in this area and what doesn't and what is native and what isn't.  She was there for all of the plantings and reworked one section on the fly, creating what turns out to be one of my favorite parts of my garden.  All of the work was done meticulously by Benjamin and team.  We were given a very accurate and reasonable estimate beforehand.  We could not ask for better value per dollar spent.  I feel very lucky to have benefited from Vallari's exceptional talent and expertise.

> My wife Sharon and I hired Vallari (owner of Eco Scapes) after taking a course that she taught at the Morton Arboretum on Woodland Gardens. We were very impressed by her knowledge and obvious ability to unite disparate elements into unique and beautiful gardens. Vallari worked with us collaboratively to create more planting room in our garden (by successfully relocating several large shrubs) and selecting a beautiful assortment of perennials to add depth, color and interest to our garden. We have four dogs and were very concerned about plant  toxicity. Vallari worked with us to identify risky plants and to suggest safer alternaives. After the first full season, Vallari was very professional in replacing plants that had not survived with either identical plants or different species calculated to fare better in the location. Perrenials have now mostly emerged for their second season and, while there has been some additional mortality, most of the plants continue to be healthy and the garden has retained its character and integrity. Overall, Eco Scapes was very knowledgeable and professional and enjoyable to work with.
