We had been waiting to add this bathroom to our home for over 25 years, and WinnBuild made it a reality beyond our wildest dreams! His craftmanship and professionalism is of the highest degree. Not only did he have great design ideas on how to add a bathroom to the upper level of our old house, he was so unbelievably kind and understanding to work with. Jonas listened to our ideas, and the needs we required, and was able to incorporate some of the same old world charm of our home into our new bathroom. For example, he used a swing door we had in storage that originally hung between our kitchen and dining room to create a pocket door for our new bathroom, and he matched the new bathroom woodwork perfectly with the woodwork in the main living areas of our old house. He constructed a balustrade and handrails up to our sleeping area where there were none before. I have some mobility issues and what he created is beautiful and very functional. > > Jonas took care EVERY SINGLE DAY to clean the areas where he was working. The bathroom we added was to a finished attic area we use as a media room. We sleep in the mezzanine, or loft the next level up from that area. Mind you this area is open, and we continued to sleep there during the construction of our new bathroom. He always cleaned the space when he was done working. If he used our garage for sawing tile or woodwork, he cleaned the garage so we could use the space EVERY SINGLE DAY he was here. If you have worked with other contractors, you will understand why this is so important. Some contractors we have worked with cared nothing about how they left our living spaces when they were done for the day, or even with the entire project. > > We cannot recommend WinnBuild highly enough. Our new bathroom is beyond beautiful, and our 94 year old house was a challenge to work with at times. There is no doubt that we will use WinnBuild Design again. It needed every kind of trade imaginable to get right. I got referred to Jonas from my awesome architect Drew Dasso. I first hired Jonas to completely reframe my entire first floor including putting in a couple pocket doors a new office some doorways and everything in between. He worked extremely hard for a couple weeks to make sure everything was exactly where it was supposed to be for my design to work. Along the way as you can imagine I encountered many other problems that came up he was more than willing to help and gave some great advice to help solve these problems. After that I had him set all my kitchen cabinets , bath vanities and crown molding which definitely needed an expert to make right. Towards the end of the project I hired him to set my doors and do all my trim carpenter needs, and let me tell you there was a lot of both. After a couple more weeks of Jonas working his tail off my project was finished April 7. As happy as I was to see him leave he was one of my favorite contractors I hired throughout this year long process.
