They came in put pavers and a deck in the back, I had them landscape the front for curb appeal. His crew were polite and professional. When Ryan was busy in the front and the guys were finishing up in the back, I asked Juan a question, he knew what he was talking about. We hired him in mid-2023 to design and landscape our front yard, backyard, side yards and driveway. Not a single piece of our outdoor living space was left untouched and drastically changed by his team. > > We initially hired him to do the design for our landscaping (front and back) including designing a new front porch and outdoor kitchen. After seeing the design we asked for him to quote the project and kept going from there. We were up front with our timeline kicking off conversations in July but being up front in communicating we could not start the project until October. He did exactly that working with us to sign a contract in advance and then staying in contact with us through the following months letting us know if he was behind in any prior projects before he could begin our project which was right on time the first week of October. He quoted the project could take 4-6 weeks and that’s exactly how long it took even with the challenges they experienced along the way. > > He had to deal with unexpected bedrock in the backyard, found a cement and rebar pond buried in the front yard, a wasp nest was buried in underground roots, the list goes on but Ryan always came to us with solutions, not problems. For the retaining wall, we ended up doing a large concrete footer with a reinforced wood fence on top for our backyard retaining wall which came out perfectly and gave us the extra strength we needed for the extra height. > > > What we loved most was that he was really creative and came up with new ideas. In particular he came up with an idea of backlit metal sheeting to top our backyard fencing, which is absolutely beautiful at night and has transformed out backyard. Plus, he was always communicative, clean and courteous. There are plenty of landscapers that post they are licensed but when you look them up on the California database you can’t find them. We had a limited budget and he put in a competitive bid based on our needs. He even provided a mockup on his vision which added another level of professionalism. I wanted to put in a putting green and the added bonus is that Ryan is a golfer. He made sure the green would have the necessary breaks, speed, and the right amount of holes for continuous usage. His team was on time every day. Ryan demo’d the back yard, leveled the dirt, added a retaining wall, assembled the pergola, laid cement, and flagstone. My wife insisted on flagstone during the project so Ryan went above and beyond to look flagstone at nearby quarries that would match the wall. Him and his team completed everything in 7 days. Everything turned out amazing! Overall, Ryan was the best choice we could have made.
