> Dianne is a very talented whirlwind of a stager, with a great eye for color. In my case she zoomed through the house, recommended color changes to the walls in a few rooms, came back after the painting was done, very gently told me what things of mine should be hidden from sight, and, in several “quick as a bunny” visits, brought in her own things which made my house look brighter, more modern, and more cheerful. With her help, I sold a house that I had been trying to sell off and on for five years within a couple of weeks. I cannot sing her praises too loudly!

> Dianne is wonderful, talented and has a real decorating eye. She is fantastic to work with and my homes sell very quickly and for top dollar with her touch! She is gentle with my clients, making them feel special. The great thing about her is that she works with all budgets. Whether using the sellers personal belongings or bringing her own furnishings, she makes each home look amazing. I highly recommend Dianne for staging and decorating services.

> Dianne of Creative Crew Design has consistently been my "go to" person for all my listings.
>
> Her ability to work with people and explain the need for staging and how to stage their home is invaluable. Her attention to detail and working with items already in the home helps the situation immensely. She has helped with everything from small tweaks to complete overhauls when necessary. Most importantly it gets the house sold and quite a few times
> has helped create bidding wars and so in turn, sell in one day!

> There are many things my wife and I like about Diane Mroz from New Jersey. These include her competence, her personality, and her accessibility. Details: Diane stays au currant with decorating trends. She not only staged the house but also recommended paint colors, fixtures and actual hardware to update the home we were selling. She would e-mail several pictures with sku numbers and prices to choose from. She was pleasant with her recommendations and would listen to what we thought without being overbearing or condescending. She returned all phone calls and e-mails quickly. We know that she purchased several pieces for her collection just to stage our home. We were very pleased with her taste and how the home looked after it was staged. Five stars for Diane!

> Dianne is an excellent stager - she is very practical - uses what the seller has at the house - she is gentle and respectful when dealing with the client - she is able to make relatively small tweaks which deliver big impact - I use her often for my new listings and she is able to provide staging guidance to my sellers in a very positive way

> I have worked with Dianne Mroz from Creative Crew Design for over 5 years. She has worked as a stager for my clients in getting their properties ready to go on the market for sale. In addition, I have recommended Dianne to provide design services to my clients that are purchasing homes. She has a really creative eye and is able to take my clients current belongings and help present the house in its best light. Homes that I have listed, where they have hired Dianne, have sold faster and for higher prices that homes that did not. I would recommend Dianne higher if you need a stager or a designer for your home.

## Community Q&A

**Q: Beautiful! Where are the cabinets from?** *(in Photo Questions)*

A: Thank you! They are Brookhaven, a division of Wood Mode.

**Q: Need help with rug color** *(in Design Dilemma)*

Our family room is a Lush, a Benjamin Moore color. It's a dark green with blue undertones. Our base board is white, the floors are a deep mahogany wood, and the fireplace mantle is white. Currently we have a dark brown rug with light green stripes in it. The coffee table is black and our couch is tan. The rug is too dark, we'd like a lighter color, but I wasn't sure if there was another color that would match, outside of the brown family.

A: I think a rug with some orange in it may brighten up the look in the room and you may want to include this in some pillows or a throw . You can incorporate some art that can brighten up the room too.

**Q: Window treatment dilemma** *(in Design Dilemma)*

Hello, I just spent a fortune on window treatments. I have two big windows in an open floor plan living area, that gets really sunny and hot in the summer. I bought window panels and sheer curtains as well and used double rods to hang them. The curtains and sheers are grommet. I still feel that something looks wrong or is missing. Don't want to spend a lot more money but also want it to look pretty. The bigger of the two windows looks ok, it's just the smaller one that is confusing me. R the curtains too low, or is it the rod that is showing? I felt a valance would be too much...I would like to keep it simple and elegant. Thank so much.

A: I agree with Pamela but I want to also mention when hanging sheers behind curtains it is better to use ones that are not grommets. This does not usually look good behind the rod. They are meant to be in the front when they have grommets plus the first rod is too close to the second one and it does not give enough room for the grommets to hang like they should. This could be part of your problem.
