## Community Q&A

**Q: What type of tile/stone on the pool wall?** *(in Photo Questions)*

Is that stone or tile?  Our spa guy says that we cannot use real stone where the waterfall is. He says porcelain or ceramic tile.

Thank you for your message. In this particular project, we did use natural stone for the waterfall feature.

**Q: Pergola roof manufacturer** *(in Photo Questions)*

Really like the roof with the aluminum louvres. Looks like placed on top of a wood structure. Could you please share the roof manufacturer? Thanks very much.

Any idea if anyone in TX distributes the same pergola?

A: Hello, it’s a custom pergola with a mix of stone, wood and metal. The Louvered roof was manufactured by Sunguard Awnings.

What is the cost for a backyard project of this magnitude (incl. pool)?

A: Hi Kisha, Thanks for your inquiry regarding this project's cost. The basic elements in this plan are something I can give you a price range for; however, it may be irrelevant for you depending where you live. We are in a cold climate zone with a limited construction season (in Canada).  Our prices may not be in your currency or reflective of your climate. If you like, please call me at 800-341-6656 and I can go over rough budgeting for similar items

**Q: Are there drawings that I could refer to for the waterfall?** *(in Photo Questions)*

I would like to know how the piping works.

A: A detailed plumbing plan would be included with a design. We can not provide drawings of this nature on previous projects.  Generally speaking, we have a dedicated pool pump supplying the water to the waterfall and use 2" lines and diverter valves to control the flow to various hidden outlets in the waterfall. There are a few outlets on this waterfall.
