> Lisa has wonderful ideas, a quick eye, a huge amount of patience, and a great sense of humor. She works with budgets both big and small with the same enthusiasm and energy. She has worked with me as a Room Doctor for immediate help, and on longer-term decorating issues in my house. She has a vast knowledge of designers and sources, and will continually search out special items. I recommend her highly.

>
> In working on an out of state project with her, it's like she is just around the corner. She has the ability to be in contact with all aspects of the job.
>
> She is the modern global designer where she can go anywhere and handle anything.

**★★★★★ — lindandc, July 2013**

**★★★★★ — ftrachtenberg, July 2013**

> Worked with Lisa Bartolomei to decorate a new home. Was extremely pleased with the overall result and with the specific choices of furnishings - also with the recommended consultants and contractors.
>
> She has high standards yet is respectful of a budget. Would continue to use her for future work and would recommend her to others.

> I am a real estate agent who has watched Lisa work for a variety of clients over the years and she never ceases to amaze me. Her attention to detail is the best I have ever seen and I have been exposed to a lot of interior designers. Her execution is meticulous and she understands her clients needs through watching , listening to them , communicating with them and getting the results they want . Her work is amazing .

> Lisa Bartolomei has an innate gift for design and the decorative arts. Every detail is designed with purpose. I have never ever seen such breathtakingly beautiful slabs of onyx and granite used anywhere else. Her sense of color is second to none. She is professional and her clients are always pleased with the brilliant results. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Lisa Bartolomei for the finest of design jobs where time is not a factor.

**★★★★★ — Stephanie Fuller, July 2013**

> I have seen many Bartolomei & Co. projects over the years and always astounded by the results and consideration for the client needs at every phase. Lisa Bartolomei's education and global experience keeps her at the top of her game.
>
> My most recent project was small but difficult. My Deco dinning room chairs needed attention and the color of the hand-poured glass ,in the table, was keeping me very restricted. The result was beyond words! Smart choices of color contrast and texture made the room come alive. I like to think I have a pretty good eye and sense of taste but there is something about that professional edge, for sure!

**★★★★★ — cohbru, July 2013**

> Lisa is a gem. First of all, she wants to know your thoughts and your tastes. She does not want to impose hers on you but wants to help you realize your vision. That being said, she has great vision and exquisite taste. Nothing is left to chance. The craftspeople she works with are all top notch be they woodworkers, electricians, and contractors.

**★★★★★ — Evelyn Avery, July 2013**

> I am a vendor who has worked with Lisa Bartolomei and I have found that she is extremely creative and unique in her design. Since our products are hand made and custom designed, I know the importance after working with hundreds of designers over 20 years the importance of detail and customer service. I find that Lisa has been wonderful to work with and always puts her customer , or whose honor she serves first.
>

**★★★★★ — Associated Designers, July 2013**

> I do lighting design for Lisa and have for decades. She is a brilliant and creative designer whose scope includes a wide range of styles, from contemporary to tradional. She has a special talent for combining styles seamlessly in the same room and/or project. A successful project is one that continues to be interesting long after completion. Lisa's projects have a timeless quality that is both beautifully integrated and comfortable to live with. Most importantly, they reflect the owner's vision as well as her own.

## Community Q&A

**Q: Modern wall art** *(in Photo Questions)*

Where an the wall art in the picture be found?

A: This is an original piece. Oil on canvas.
https://melindastickneygibson.com/home.html If you ask her she may consider doing something similar for you!

**Q: Living Room Ceiling** *(in Photo Questions)*

what kind of wood and stain color was used on the living room ceiling?

A: Pine with a clear finish (gets more yellow over time)

**Q: What is the color of the island?** *(in Photo Questions)*

Nm

A: It is a custom color but similar to Fine Paints of Europe E25-53or 54
Always best to look at colors in the space where they will actually be and coordinate with other colors in the room. This is an off black with a blue cast to it.

**Q: Upholstered wall** *(in Photo Questions)*

How is it done!

A: These are individual panels that are padded and then wrapped. Mounted on cleats. Thanks for asking!

**Q: How could I replicate the color of the upper blue cabinets? DIY** *(in Photo Questions)*

I was thinking of painting my kitchen cabinets.... Have a very limited budget. The color of blue Is my absolute favorite color. Any ideas what the color of blue is and what is underneath. I would appreciate any help with identifying the blue? Thank you.

A: This was a custom color from Premier cabinets. The upper cabinets are painted and then glazed with a darker color. If you need to paint with no glaze then Benj. Moore Aspen Skies 1656 or Seaside Resort 725 will give you a similar look. You need to pick the color in the space as the light is different in each room as well as each geographic location! Good luck.

**Q: Chair** *(in Photo Questions)*

What style/designer/brand is that chair? I realize its probably vintage but would appreciate any details possible. Thank you!

A: You're funny. One thing I always do is use the props you have to help you determine
how high you want to make the cushion. Like putting a thin flat cushion unde the existing one, or newspaper and then wrap the whole thing with a fabric so you get the idea of what the finished cushion will look like and if you think it is the right proportion.
No there were no markings on the chair. We had them refinished (they were a weird red purple color) and we didn't see any identifying marks. Good luck
