Am I correct in thinking that you put drywall over the bottom truss chords to raise the ceiling by a few inches? What was your technique?

A: There were not Truss' on this project, but yes, that is the general idea.  The bottom cord of a Truss would probably be shorter than this 2x8 and might not look appropriate; but that is up to you.  Remember to insulate on top of that sheetrock.

A: Gutters:  1/2 round profile rolled from same material as Custom Bilt Metals roofing.
