Their sub-contractors were for the most part good--understanding that quality work is pricey and Calais on more than one occasion had the work re-done to meet drawings/code/quality standards. At completion, --construction took a year in part due to initial unusual weather in 2014/15 (snow/ice), the continued follow-up of latent punch-list items has been thorough--perhaps slow due to scheduling, availability of talented workers. A: This particular project used White Mortar Mix and regular sand. White sand is more expensive and will definitely impact your costs.
