A: I'm very sorry but I don't have the name in my files. I have never seen it again either. **Q: Under cabinet lighting for kitchen** *(in Design Dilemma)* I need very low profile under cabinet lighting, either LED or florescent. We do not have molding to hide the fixture, and will put it as far back as possible. Fixture itself should be all white, and produce a warm white light, and be dimmable. We can not have a remote transformer. Lastly, I don't like the strips with the dots, as the dots reflect on the counter. Help!! A: LED's are much better for dimming. All you need to do is use one with a white lens over the lights. You can find them at most of the big home centers. Your local lighting studio will also be able to help you. **Q: What style is this house?** *(in Design Dilemma)* Built in 1940, is it colonial? Cape cod? A: It is definitively a mix of things and appears to have an addition added to the original home. I agree with Gantt's suggestion. **Q: What would YOU do with this Kitchen? Help me decide!** *(in Design Dilemma)* We are looking to renovate this whole kitchen. Floors, Cabinets, Appliances (Except for the brand new dishwasher) Countertops, everything! Right now, the layout doesn't work for me, the cook. I've thought about moving the fridge to the left of the sink and dishwasher and make the space the fridge was into lowers and uppers with a 48" pro range OR 36" cooktop with double oven where the fridge use to be. In the area that doesn't have anything there (The left of the sliding doors) I wanted to put a 24" pantry and a desk with storage. Below I have attached pictures of what we have now and measurements (approximate, the best we could do). We also plan on removing that horrible track lighting, add spotlights and island pendant lighting. Please help us figure out the BEST layout for this boring kitchen! Thank you!
