Quisiera saber que madera usan que sea tan resistente al sol y al calor. También me interesa saber de qué es la base en el suelo, si es piedra o arena.

**Q: Does water circulate?** *(in Photo Questions)*

Is this designed to be a dry creek bed?  the picture shows water...and I 
 can't help but wonder if it's designed to circulate water.  this is soooo attractive.

A: The creek beds original purpose was to divert water which naturally collects under the house during the winter and is pumped out with a sump pump. Since the pump comes on intermittently, only when there is enough water under the house, we decided to make it recirculating as well by adding a basin and another pump so that it could be turned on anytime.
