I interviewed several general contractors to find the right fit. I needed someone who would take care of my home and take care of me. I wanted someone who was passionate about the project. Within 5 minutes of meeting Paul from Streamline Development, I knew that my search was over. I had a great feeling from the very beginning about Paul. I felt his passion for his work and more importantly, for my project. Even though I waited for a formal bid from him to hire him, I knew that it was a done deal from the beginning. For me, it is not all about the money. I was not looking for the cheapest contractor. I was looking for the best! Incidentally, I interviewed 4 highly recommended General Contractors for the job. The process from start to finish was fantastic. We had a few challenges along the way, some expected and some not (like dealing with very difficult neighbors). Paul and his crew handled each challenge with skill and precision. The entire project took approx 7 months. I lived in the house during construction. During that time, I have to be honest, I had a couple of melt-downs. These were not related to the work being done per se but just because 7 months of dust and noise can take its toll. Paul and his crew knew just how to deal with those moments and took very good care of me. The Streamline personnel are good decent honest people. They were respectful 100% of the time and they do fantastic work. I got so used to having Paul, Logan and John around the house that once the project was completed and they left, I went through a bit of a withdrawal. Streamline was not the cheapest bid that I got but I believe you get what you pay for. Paul, Logan and John went the extra mile to make certain that no detail was left out.
