> Bright Leaf Landscaping is a family owned business.  I had the pleasure of meeting Jonathan and his family at Shaw's Karate. Salt of the earth kind of guy.  We recently moved to Durham, and loved the backyard - except for the area near the popup drain, where water flows when it rains, and mud and dirt were the major features in the hardpan clay under the shade of the trees.  Jonathan set us up with a decorative river rock in the area downstream of the popup drain, mulch in the area where grass won't grow.  He also talked us out of Azaleas in the shade under the trees, and recommended decorative plants that would actually grow in the area. And he added the ability to water them precisely with water saving emitters that water the plants - without watering the larger mulched area. My lovely wife is very pleased - and the next door neighbors enjoy the view from their deck.  If you're looking for an honest, hardworking small businessman who does great work at a fair price - I highly recommend Bright Leaf Landscaping.
