## Community Q&A

**Q: HGTV please bring back the decorating shows!!** *(in Design Dilemma)*

Leaving this thread open for as long as Houzz will allow it!  Please share your thoughts and comments.  If enough of us do this the powers that be at HGTV might hear us.  How completely sick are you of the constant building, renovating, selling, buying, etc. etc?  Enough already.

A: I'm tired of the real estate focused shows, too.  Remodeling (a la Crashers) is OK, mostly for the "afters".  I miss Decorating Cents, Candace Olsen, etc. so now I tune more to DIY network than HGTV.

**Q: How did you finish the edges of the glass block?** *(in Photo Questions)*

A: I was the former homeowner.  The same marble used on the countertops was put on the TOP edges of the glass blocks.  Bullnosed glass block was used down the side at the entrance to the shower

**Q: Cabinets** *(in Photo Questions)*

What type of wood was used for the cabinets?

A: clear (no knots) maple. Same as the built-ins in the master and all the cabinetry throughout the house (family room, dining, and kitchen)

**Q: What are the wall colors?** *(in Photo Questions)*

Very warm and inviting

A: They were actually Devine colors... Medallion and Sangria.  I painted them myself

**Q: Size** *(in Photo Questions)*

Size of the shower part please

A: When you are standing inside and facing the showerhead: Approximately 4 ft wide by 7 ft deep

**Q: Sectional** *(in Photo Questions)*

Can you tell me about the sectional- maker? Color? Thanks!

A: Sofa was made by FlexSteel.  I think the color was called Oatmeal
