**★★★★★ — Leah Howie, March 2017**

> We hired Haven to build an infill house for us in Saskatoon. We first met with Haven in May of 2016, and received the keys to our beautiful new home in February 2017. Working with the team at Haven was a great experience. We loved the 3D software Haven used to give us a virtual walk through of the blue prints of our completely custom floor plan; it helped us feel confident that we wouldn't have any regrets once the house was actually built. Being able to work so closely with our project manager and Haven's interior designer was also amazing. Our house is truly custom, and feels so much like "us".
>
> There were no cost surprises at all throughout the process either, which was very important to us. Thanks to the appropriate allowances they gave us for everything in our house, we stayed on budget .
>
> Best of all was that literally everyone we dealt with at Haven and who worked on our house was so friendly, enthusiastic, encouraging, and helpful. Every single Pinterest-inspired idea that I had was welcomed by the Haven design team, and they went above and beyond to help me achieve all of my Pinterest-inspired dreams.
>
> The Haven cabinetry is also beautiful. We are very pleased with the quality. In addition, all of Haven's trades people have done a fantastic job, and have been friendly and professional in all of our interactions with them.

> We think Pinterest should be inspired by you guys! It was a pleasure to work with such creative people willing to try such unique ideas in their home! We loved every minute of it and can't wait to see your backyard treehouse.

**★★★★★ — Lesley, Nov. 2016**

> We worked with Haven to do a complete renovation to the main and upper floors of a 1980 built house that hadn't been updated at all. They were professional, helpful, friendly and easy to work with. Everyone really contributed ideas and solutions that make the changes we wanted. The quality was fantastic and they made the process very simple! A great team to work with!

**Comment from Haven & Co.:**

> Thanks Lesley - we thoroughly enjoyed your project - quite the transformation. Thanks for letting us be a part of it!

**★★★★★ — Sarah Robertson, Sept. 2016**

> Haven is an excellent company to work with. We are very happy to have had the opportunity to complete a project together and I know there will be more in the future.

**Comment from Haven & Co.:**

> Thanks Sarah - we are also looking forward to our future projects with you and the rest of the talented Oxbow crew!

**★★★★★ — Teresa L, April 2016**

> We hired Haven Builders after we had interviewed a number of builders. We are really happy that we did so. They were wonderful to work with and were there to help us from designing the blueprints to picking out the finishings. The designers were great and they were able to get a sense of our tastes and style and they narrowed down our choices for us. We found that this allowed us to find items that we loved without being overwhelmed. They were really helpful giving advice and ideas to make all the elements come together. They were just as concerned as i was about creating a timeless look and avoiding trends as much as possible. The Haven Cabinents are really high quality and the high craftsmanship shines through.
> We were promptly made aware of any problems or situations that arose, in which they generally already had a solution worked out. The best thing about our house is that it was completed on time and on budget!!! Haven took the time to put together a realistic quote. We knew the cost of all our options and if something was over budget we had to approve it first. We are a busy family and appreciated that we did not have to continually check in at the house to ensure that things were going properly.
> We have been in our house for 2 months now and we wouldn't make any major changes to the house. Overall we would recommend Haven to anyone and if we were to build again we definitely get them.
> UPDATE: There were a few projects that needed to get done when the weather was warm and a some minor repairs etc from the build.. Some got done with reminders/ nagging. Other projects are stil not done and it is October with absolutely no communication from them, except a bill for still not finished work.

**Comment from Haven & Co.:**

> Thanks so much Teresa. We loved working with you guys on this project and are so happy that you love your new home!

> Haven Builders did an amazing job from design to completion in building our dream house. Their dedication to quality construction and workmanship is evident throughout our home. I would highly recommend Haven Builders Inc for all new home construction and renovations.

**★★★★★ — bbrazier36, June 2015**

> I have used Haven Builders for two major renovations over the past 5 years: A complete kitchen reno, and most recently, basement, laundry room, and 3 bathrooms. In both cases, their knowledge, skill, responsiveness, and professionalism was outstanding. They have a team of highly skilled people who really are there to ensure that you are happy with the work. They work with the home owner collaboratively right from conception and design to the completed project. I also found that they are very responsive to questions or concerns that come up along the way. If something goes wrong - they make it right! You cannot ask for more than that!! I highly recommend Haven Home Builders!

**★★★★ — jdelke, Nov. 2014**

> We hired them to do a full renovation on the main floor. They were not pushy in getting us started on the project which I appreciated. We met with them a few times starting in Nov and did not sign the contract until March. Their allowances were spot on. All the trades people working for them were all very respectful and did a great job. They went above and beyond the scope of work set out for them, ex. the electricians changed all the plugs and switches to a more modern look, hooked up 2 extra lights... The cabinets are custom and the cabinet manager, Spencer Dick, was very conscientious about the work being done in his shop.
> The thing that sold me on Haven was having the design consultant, Donna Senterre, part of the project, I was lost at what goes together, it was overwhelming and that is why we had done nothing up til then.
> Donna Senterre was phenomenal! She helped in every aspect of the interior design. She was the go to person if we had any questions and helped pick out everything we needed for our home. She would go shopping with us and then understood what we liked and disliked. She was always there to help make the process painless. We absolutely love the job they did!!
> The only complaint I would have is the cleaning crew. After they left the laminate floor had puddles all over (my husband was home so he cleaned it up) and the cupboards still had wood shavings in them, the subway tile in the kitchen was not cleaned and the new windows were only done in the inside. I would ask if I could clean myself and get $$ off.

  - Description: These clients wanted to create a modern home that incorporated industrial elements, but still had a warm feel to it. There are many unique features including a brick feature wall in the dining room, boasting reclaimed brick from Chicago warehouses. The kitchen features walnut cabinetry with bookmatched horizontal grain and sleek white Cambria Quartz countertops. The pantry barn door was a custom piece fabricated by Dragonfly Artistic Metals here in Saskatoon.
