They did the cabinets for the kitchen and 5 bathrooms when house was built in 2001. The master bath vanity turned out very well and much better product than anything I saw online for comparable price. Yes, you have to plan ahead or build in a wait but it was worth it. **★ — HU-783379291, May 2023** > The product and customer service here is horrendous. I saw their cabinets in a showroom and wished to support a local business. HUGE mistake. The cabinets I received had joints that didn’t fit together cleanly and the paint covering them was completely uneven and hideous. I spoke with David in their customer service department because I can’t believe they let a product like this off their floor. I was told by him that he wouldn’t talk about my order with me (the customer) because he doesn’t have a contract with me. My contractor had them remade. The brand new cabinets came with the exact same problems: the paint looks like the cabinets are made of sandpaper because the doors appear bumpy to the eye and the touch and there were gouges in the wood (so nothing paint can fix anyway). My contractor who has done business with Hagerstown before said he’ll never do so again. He plans to get a furniture repair person to attempt to salvage the trash Hagerstown provided their customer. **Comment from Hagerstown Kitchens Inc.:** > I apologize you feel your issues were not handled to your satisfaction. Hagerstown Kitchens goal is to make sure our quality and our customers satisfaction is achieved. Excellent sales woman was fired before our work began so had to call just before installation was to begin to discover that owner took over our contract. Dave was obtuse and apparently did not read into our arrangements before hand. Poor to no communication from this man throughout whole process. Installer fortunately was flexible to work around our flooring installers. Had 1.5 hours notice on day that countertops arrived because by chance I called HK office and spoke to another sales woman. Final product looks ok and installer did good work. But cannot recommend working with this company overall. Try another cabinet company to avoid serious mistakes or delays.
