I'm trying to match up new hardwood to original oak floors in an old house and would appreciate any advice you have to try to achieve the difference in color variation that you find in the old hardwood floors. Thank you! A: Oak hardwood flooring. We sand, stain and apply 3 coats of poly. All work is done on site. The natural stain allows for the natural variation in the wood to come through.
