Wayne did a nice job creating special features in our home to make it unique (e.g. arches over the shower, special trim in the stair case). Many things get missed in as discussion about the program until you have it down on paper and are able to digest the information. Wayne had provided the best way to attack the drastically sloping site by sitting the foundation into the slope and have a walk out basement. Also by framing the whole house with open web truss and roof truss from Richco Structures, we were able to assemble the floors and roof in no time saving a lot on labor cost and time of construction. The spans were well over what you could achieve with dimensional lumber, so this also became the most economical solution. All in all I would highly recommend having Wayne provide you with a good set of scope drawings for bidding, so you can determine the best framing plan for your project.
