> Masters Kitchen and Bath did a terrific job remodeling our bathroom. Their team provided expert guidance in the planning and selection process. The installation was done in a very professional manner. We are extremely pleased with the result. The materials were excellent quality. Communication throughout the project was very good. I would not hesitate to recommend Masters Kitchen & Bath to anyone considering a similar project

> Masters Kitchen &Bath did a fantastic job on our kitchen remodeling. It’s absolutely beautiful. We couldn’t have been more impressed working with Jennifer, Sasho and Sandra in their gorgeous showroom and Alin our very talented remodeler of our kitchen from the demolition to the last glimmer of our stunning white kitchen! He worked very hard every day…right on time and put in a full days work keeping our dust down to a minimum with clear tarps up and Alin was very conscientious and extremely detailed! We could not be happier. We highly recommend this wonderful company….we would use them again! Their guidance with our choices was grateful appreciated. It’s a joy to be in our gorgeous kitchen. > On reading the word “Masters” in their title I winced, suspecting the claim pretentious. After a few encounters with Joe and Company I decided the word was accurate, indeed, modest. They do everything in a masterly way: inspecting the current kitchen, drawing you into designing the new one, guiding you around their impressive showroom to sort through all the possible selections, plotting out details on video screen. (Side note: looking at their trucks I had to conclude that anyone who took the trouble to make such elaborate design is committed to their profession.) During the work Joe stopped in many times, both to check on progress and to talk. It is obvious he has labored for years to fashion a superior operation, attaining mastery not only in the technical field but in human relations. Example: they will not pdf, mail, or e-mail their 5 Year Warranty. They insist on delivering it in person, on the day and at the time you choose. I’d imagine this could sometimes mean an hour on the road just to deliver a piece of paper. Gets across the importance of your project.
>
> Personal example: I dropped my first kitchen contactor when she put my project three months away, then another three, then another. Masters put me in line for late April. In December Jennifer called to inform that a customer had stepped out of line and postponed his project, that if I wanted to fill in, mine could begin in the last week of December. Four months earlier! I levitated! Perhaps this bit of luck provided another: getting Igor assigned to my case. Mastery? Man does it all flawlessly: electricity, plumbing, cabinetry, splash tiles, painting. After he left each day I went around taking close up photos. In the third week Joe stopped in to explain that Igor had to take a five day trip and I could either accept a replacement for the last week or wait for him to come back. That decision took less than 1/1000 of a second. By nature I look for faults in anything I come upon, and in their operation I could only find one: I believe there should be an apostrophe after the “-s.” In short, exceptional company and people. A pleasure to deal with them. Can not go wrong entrusting them with your kitchen.

> I strongly recommend using Masters Kitchen and Bath.
>
> We used Masters Kitchen and Bath for a remodel of our basement, including a laundry room and bathroom. Their designer, Jen, came up with a brand new way to organize our space so that we ended up fitting a full bath into space we originally thought could only hold a half-bath. Their aesthetic helped make concrete what we only vaguely imagined in our mind.
>
> The quality of the work was incredible, and their team made sure to anticipate our needs and offer suggestions where we had not thought of something beforehand. I also work from home, and despite such a dramatic remodel, their team was mindful of noise and kept the workspace clean so that we were able to still make use of the basement while the work took place.
>
> For such a dramatic remodel, it was amazing that I could treat the whole process as "hands-off", where all I had to do was sit back and wait for the remodel to be finished! We will use them again without hesitation when we start work on the upstairs!

> We recently completed our second major remodeling project with Masters Kitchen and Bath. Our first project (in 2016) was a total redo of our kitchen, and we could not be happier with the end result. The newly completed guest bathroom was also a complete tear-out. From the initial design concept to final approval, the front end of the project went without issue. In construction, every person involved was meticulous, neat and tidy. Exactly what we experienced when we did our kitchen, truly outstanding craftsmen. Masters continues to impress!

> We chose Masters Kitchen and Bath and have never regretted our decision. We soon realized that the cost was clearly a reflection of the professional and extensive work that we did not expect but was expertly done as part of Masters’ remodeling excellence. There was not a detail overlooked because going above and beyond is what Masters is all about.
>
> When we signed on to have our kitchen remodeled, we told Masters that if we were happy with the progress, we would sign up to have our three (3) bathrooms remodeled as well. We had no idea who would be working on our kitchen, and hoped it would be someone we would like who would provide us with a job well done.
>
> Alin was assigned to our project – how lucky we were!!! Immediately, we could see that he had an awesome work ethic. Singlehandedly, Alin provided detailed craftsmanship, daily reliability, patience and dedication to our project. He quietly worked from the moment he arrived on time every day until the time he departed in the evening without stopping to chat or take breaks. When circumstances arose where there were options of what we might prefer, Alin did take a moment to ask what we would like him to do. Despite the mess and dust that remodeling brings, Alin made sure to keep our home as clean as possible. Alin was the hardest worker who is so talented, trustworthy, meticulous, diligent, and respectful. His abilities and character are exceptional and impressive.
>
> Therefore, it wasn’t very long before we knew that we wanted Masters to add to our project and sign us up with Alin to remodel our three (3) baths, too! We couldn’t pass up this opportunity to continue with this wonderful transformation!
>
> It was our pleasure to have Alin in our home while remodeling all four (4) of our rooms. He has made a significant positive difference in our home and in our lives.
>
> The entire staff at Masters is knowledgeable, professional and totally addressed any and all of our requests throughout the remodel. Masters’ service after the sale is very customer-oriented, too!
>
> Everyone who has seen our remodeled kitchen and three (3) baths had highly complimentary comments. What we have heard most often is, “your rooms look like they are in a model home that would be featured in a magazine!”
>
> We are very pleased that we chose Masters Kitchen and Bath, and would not hesitate to highly recommend them to anyone interested in fine quality kitchen and bath remodeling. Alin and Masters far exceeded our expectations!

**★★★★★ — Mary Ciccotelli, May 2021**

> Choosing Masters Kitchen and Bath for my project, was absolutely the right decision! They completely gutted my main bathroom and turned it into a beautiful, work of art.
>
> I started by brainstorming ideas with Marc and Joseph. This was my first experience with doing a complete redesign of a room, so needless to say I was excited but unsure of myself. I knew I wanted a company that would help me through every step of the project. Joseph and Marc walked me through each design step, and came up with a design I just love! They gave me ideas, and were great listeners as I discovered what appeals and is important to me. They did not hesitate to let me know if they thought I was making a mistake. They earned my well-deserved trust, which allowed this project to be a fun and exciting process, with no regrets!
>
> I cannot say enough great things about Zeljko, who did the work in my home. He is a true craftsman, who pays close attention to details, takes pride in his work, and does everything the right way! Even though we were dealing with a pandemic and an incredibly cold and snowy winter, he made it all work seamlessly. His work ethic is absolutely commendable. Zeljko is a great problem solver and I truly don’t know how he was able to accomplish all that he did in a limited area. Sasho came on site when Zeljko had a two person project and was the consummate professional as well. Sandra was a huge help in various aspects of the design, by helping me brainstorm some ideas, discovering what products might fit my need, and keeping us informed about delivery timetables. Everyone I worked with was extremely helpful, friendly and approachable. This company works extremely well as a team.
>
> Masters Kitchen and Bath goes above and beyond to make sure the customer is happy and the work is outstanding. I am looking forward to my next project with them! I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a high quality craftsmanship remodel of their kitchen or bath!

**★★★★★ — HU-798558108, March 2021**

> Masters Kitchen and Bath is a superb company! Joe's eye for kitchen design and color was better than I even imagined. Sasha and Zjelko did the actual remodeling of the kitchen. They are so skilled in their profession and I was amazed at the outcome. Aside from their skill, their attention to detail is second to none. Most of all, they are wonderful people to work with.

**★★★★★ — HU-560991426, March 2021**

> Our experience with Masters Kitchen & Bath has been nothing short of superb. They completely remodeled our master bathroom and we have already scheduled a full kitchen remodel. We definitely wanted the bathroom done and scheduled that first, but we were procrastinating about the kitchen until we saw what an amazing job they did – and how good everything looked. Ours wasn’t the largest project being it is a condo, but from our first consult with Joe, who designed our bathroom and kitchen, the remodel by Igor, Jennifer guiding us with material choices and Sandra in the office handling anything and everything, everyone was professional, extremely knowledgeable, responsive to any and all questions (we had a lot) and a delight to work with. We wanted one company who would take care of everything from planning through construction and feel very fortunate to have chosen Masters Kitchen & Bath. Highly recommended!

**★★★★★ — HU-825826147, Nov. 2020**

> Masters Kitchen and Bath remodeled both our master and hall bathroom. We could not be more pleased with the process and the results. Marc and Joe patiently helped us with many initial questions and the overall design process. The work in our home was all completed by Igor who was a true professional. He was very respectful in our home and kept us up to date and informed throughout the project. We were initially worried about the disruption of a remodeling project, but Masters and Igor made the process so smooth and pleasant that we were amazed. Sondra was also very helpful with many of the selections and details along the way. We are thrilled with our new bathrooms and would highly recommend Masters Kitchen and Bath to anyone looking for a professional company that handles all of the details for you and prides themselves on quality work and service.

**★★★★★ — John, July 2020**

> After interviewing five contractors, I hired Masters Kitchen and Bath to update my condominium master bathroom. Out of the contractors I met, this company provided the most detailed ideas, suggestions and solutions for bathroom design, all from one visit to my condo. I could not be more pleased! Excellent and beautiful job! Joseph (Designer) and Marc (General Manager) were great to work with. They could not have made the process any easier. Both assisted with design ideas and material selection. The project started in the the proposed start month and was completed within the stated time frame (five weeks), on budget. I can not say enough of my Installation Professional, Igor. Once the project started, he was there every day, all day, completing beautiful and meticulous work. The work area was left clean and organized every night. During the project, I had to do nothing. Marc even arranged water shutoff, coordinating between my building's management company and preferred plumber. Masters Kitchen and Bath offers an "all-in-one" service. From initial meeting, design, and material selection through project completion, you work with their employees only and visit their showroom. You do not have to go shopping around for supplies. For the high quality, professional, timely work and "hassle-free" experience, the price was more than fair. I highly recommend Masters Kitchen and Bath for your remodeling project.

**Comment from Masters Kitchen and Bath:**

> Thank you for the kind words. Enjoy your new bathroom!

**★★★★★ — Kenneth McCullah, Jan. 2020**

> The work done was top notch. Wonderful company, even better employees. We can't say enough good things about the contractors that they had in our home. It is amazing to have a wonderful, beautiful kitchen that far exceeded any hope that we had, but it was sad to see them go. We are going to have to find our next project to hire them for. Thank you so much for your attention to detail and care and concern for us.

**Comment from Masters Kitchen and Bath:**

> Thank you for the kind words. Enjoy your new Kitchen.

 - Description: This large, upscale, downtown condo had a modest, awkward kitchen that did not do justice to the open floor plan. This space demanded a kitchen that was open and spectacular. Gone is the small pantry closet and the tiny island. Gone is the peninsula. The new kitchen is bright and flows into the grand living area. An impressive island extends the length of the kitchen and forms the center piece of the open floor plan.

 - Description: Gracious 1970's manor home with the original kitchen. One owner is a professional chef, so this dated layout was a particularly difficult. Lighting was upgraded, electrical was upgraded, the floor was leveled, and the working area slightly enlarged. The new plan accommodated new appliances specified by the client, and a vastly improved work flow and prep areas. The "farm house" touches created a warm, inviting, and efficient space where cooking magic can happen.

 - Description: After completing a gorgeous kitchen and remodeling the bathroom on the lower level, it was finally time for Masters Kitchen & Bath to put the icing on the cake. "The master bathroom". This spacious bathroom with a large bay of windows facing the lake, was oddly broken up. The large jetted tub sat, appropriately, in the bay of windows. The over sized tub deck and surrounding steps made this generous area feel cramped. Opposite the tub sat a closet, next to a tiny shower stall, next to an enormous…

 - Description: A sprawling estate style ranch home had a very large master bathroom with no space! The oversized tub in an even more oversized deck was overwhelming to look at and awkward to use. It cramped the double vanity making the entire area feel tight. The separate shower stall was ridiculously tiny for a master bathroom suite, and a toilet and bidet room filled the balance of the space. Gone is the giant pink whirlpool tub. In its place is a generous freestanding soaking tub complete with a chandelier.…

 - Description: A gracious, sprawling ranch home had a spacious kitchen that didn't seem spacious at all. After years of additions and deletions, the working area of the kitchen had become cramped and awkward. What was needed was a fresh set of eyes to see what was possible. The new design vision utilized the entire space, relocating appliances to create a greatly improved working kitchen area. There was ample space left over for a large wine cooler and a separate wine bar. The new space is just what was needed…

 - Description: Gracious Georgian, had an impossibly cramped galley kitchen. There was no room to cook for a family and no obvious place to expand. The project required completely reinventing the space. A wall was removed to open up some additional space to the kitchen and a window was bricked in and two others shortened. The kitchen was completely reconfigured for the new space. Corner windows above the sink look out over the yard and the new extended galley has plenty of room for cooking and entertaining. The…

 - Description: This kitchen was in need of remodeling several years ago when this client had the misfortune to select the wrong contractor. They ended up with a partially demolished kitchen and a lost deposit. The good news is that we had an opportunity to offer a far better design, which is now completed as promised. A structural wall was removed opening the new kitchen to the adjacent large dining room. Casual bar seating at the open peninsula completes the transition and accommodates entertaining family and…

 - Description: Spacious suburban two story needed some updating. The kitchen was poorly laid out and too tightly spaced. An unnecessary partition separated the family room from the kitchen/eating area. With some creative design work and a fair amount of construction, the kitchen was widened to provide a gracious space for larger island and better working flow. The odd half wall was removed and the entire space received a stunning wood plank look porcelain tile floor. The rooms now look and feel grand and open.

 - Description: This large upscale home had plenty of amenities, but the master bathroom was definitely NOT one of them. The space was adequate, but the layout was awkward and cramped. A dated "too big" corner tub dominated the corner windows and split the bathroom in half. A "too small" shower stall was squeezed in next to the toilet, and an giant closet encroached on the entrance. By visualizing the room as an empty space, we were able to put things where they belonged. This required moving plumbing and elect…

 - Description: The dark disjointed kitchen didn’t do justice to this lovely home. The modest space was broken up by two windows. One was in an odd location that forced the appliances into cramped spaces. We started by bricking in the misplaced window, freeing up the long feature wall. Now the range and hood are the focal point of the space. A pantry closet was removed to make room for an oven cabinet and a hidden pantry cabinet. The kitchen went from dark and awkward to light and current. Brilliant white cabin…

 - Description: Spacious late 60's home had a cramped master bath/closet suite, with a tiny nearly unusable shower stall. The tired poorly fitted vanity was replaced with a gracious vanity and large medicine cabinet/mirror. Better lighting and more storage transformed this area from "sad 60's" to "2018 elegant". We redesigned the shower to better use the limited space and spruced up the toilet area. The refreshed space is bright, beautiful, and functional.

 - Description: Pleased with the progress of the Master Bathroom, our client wanted to update the hall bathroom as well. The bathroom with a bathtub and double vanity, had the same dated oak cabinets, integrated sinks, pink tile, and a generally tired look. We replaced the old shallow tub with a 20 inch deep acrylic model and frameless glass shower door. The large format porcelain tile, wall niche, and oil rubbed bronze fixtures made this area appealing and comfortable. The double vanities are now custom design…

 - Description: Gracious home with a large, poorly appointed kitchen. Large closets occupied most of one wall, and basic white cabinets and countertops provided an uninteresting but workable space. The kitchen had none of the current upgrades and far less cabinet and countertop than the space could accommodate. We removed the closets and filled the kitchen with rich stained cabinets topped with crown molding. Light quartz counters with natural stone backsplash and under cabinet lighting create an outstanding wo…

 - Description: This lovely spacious home on a tree lined street, concealed a master bathroom fit for a scary movie. A long narrow room with a small dark shower at the far end. Built with thick glass blocks, the shower had the look and feel of a prison cell. Alongside the shower was wooden box containing an accordion door, and behind the box was the cramped toilet space under the only window. The vanity area was surrounded by way too many mirrors and, to complete the look, the walls were covered with dusty plea…

 - Description: This large open kitchen stretches from the back of original 100 year old home, into the more recent addition. The 30+ inch difference in floor level presented some challenges as did the large awkwardly placed windows. These clients are serious about their cooking, but struggled to make the existing kitchen work. Removing two windows and bricking in the opening freed up a substantial amount of cabinet and counter space. By rearranging the appliances we created an ideal work flow and adding a larg…

 - Location: Chicago, IL
 - Photos: 9
 - Description: This lovely 1950's home had very small kitchen space with an impossible floor plan. Too many doors and windows left grossly inadequate space for appliances, cabinets, and countertops. With no obvious remedy, the owners did the best they could with the space for many years. At first, they were highly skeptical of the new design suggestions. It seemed impossible to improve the kitchen, and change from what they were used to, might be even worse! The new design was a radical change, and the results…

 - Location: Elmwood Park, IL

 - Description: This 50's home provided a tiny space for the kitchen made even smaller by 3 entrances. Creating a kitchen suitable for serving the needs of a family, required a major reinvention of the space. By closing up one of the entrances, enough usable wall space was created to accommodate all of the appliances and plenty of cabinets and counter space. Now that the dining room is the main eating area, the wall was opened giving both rooms an open spacious feeling.

Now the Master Bathroom does justice to this elegant home.

 - Description: This young family moved into a 1950's home with a cramped 1950's style kitchen. Besides updating, the space required a major redesign. They were delighted to find that their too small kitchen wasn't really small at all. The new design features rich dark wood cabinets, stunning quartz countertops, and a generous island with seating. And there is still plenty of room for their favorite table and chairs in the bay window.

**Q: cost to remodel the niles ranch kitchen** *(in Photo Questions)*

hello. We are looking to purchase an older ranch style home due to budget restraints in a neighborhood with excellent schools (northbrook, il) we think the best way to get a house big enough for the family is to purchase one with a kitchen that has not been updated and then renovate it after buying the home.

What was cost to remodel the niles one. and what is cost range to do so?

these L-shaped kitchens typically have short cabinets with wall space above and a tiny oven built into the wall. We would like to get estimated renovation cost to update with 42" cabinets granite stainless etc.. Any thoughts?

A: Tim,
I hope that this inquiry is not from May of 2017 as shown! The project you referrenced was in the $40k range. Each project is different so an in home consultation is the only way to get an meaningful idea of cost.

**Q: Is that a pocket door?** *(in Photo Questions)*

If so, how much wall on the side hiding the door did you require?

A: Yes, it's a pocket door. The pocket depends on the size of the door slab, but you will need about 3 extra inches.

**Q: Cabinets** *(in Photo Questions)*

Can you please tell me what the wood type is and the stain color? Thank you

A: The cabinets are Cherry and the stain color is "Henna". Stains are specific to the cabinet manufacturer and the names are proprietary. You probably won't find that name anywhere.

**Q: Love your design. Do you provide computer renderings to your clients?** *(in Photo Questions)*

A: Renderings are part of our design process and we always include them on contracts with floor plans and elevations.

**Q: cabinets, counter, backsplash** *(in Photo Questions)*

What is the brand and color of the cabinets? What is the backsplash and counter top colors/brands? Thanks!

A: Hi Sarah, thanks for your inquire. Cabinet Brand is Kemper Choice with Cherry Chocolate finish. Backsplash is brushed limestone and Counter top is Natural Granite called Lennon.
Hope this helps!
