For instance, his guys put stucco over the HVAC outside vent (has been fixed), our floors squeak like a 100 year old house (cannot be fixed without ripping out all of the floors and addressing subflooring), the floors are not level (feel like walking uphill upstairs and non-level trim), the upstairs HVAC was not vented properly and would not stay on (has been fixed), shower tile grout is chipping...I could go on but you get the picture. **★ — skyraiderad5, Sept. 2016** > Watch out, before buying hire a home inspector that will work for you. You can't depend on the city inspection, and they (Westview) are pretty good at hiding defects. Unfortunately we bargained for having a fence put up and the person who was hired to put the fence up by WestView Homes originally estimated that the project would take approximately 2 weeks. Here I am 6 weeks later with the project incomplete the fence is MOSTLY installed but I still have not received the gate for it yet. WestView homes on the invoice had purchased a 4ft. gate and the contractor that works for WestView made the hole only big enough for a 3ft gate. The guy refuses to move the post out to put in a 4ft gate. Contacted the agent of WestView about this and got nothing in response. I have been in contact with the contractor doing the project but he continues to give us excuses for why it isn't quite done yet and I have contacted WestViews Agent a couple of times. At first the agent was responsive but the last couple of attempts have gotten me no where. This whole thing has turned what would have been a great first home buying experience into a pretty big nightmare. I realize most of the blame for the lack of communication and the fence not yet being completed lies on the contractor but simply keeping a line of communication open for me and my wife would have made this experience much more enjoyable. **★★★★★ — jdp12541, April 2015** > I hired WestView Homes to build me a new home in 2011 because they care about building a quality home.
