> I purchased the Duobed Sleeper Sofa in the Brick color, I am somewhat happy with it. It serves as a sofa in my very small apartment and I can also remove the back cushions to sleep on it if I choose, exactly what I was looking for. I put a twin size memory foam topper on the duobed when I choose to sleep on it which easily fits in one of the ottomans, the other ottoman fits some pillows and blankets with room to spare. Acceptable design. Without the memory foam topper i'm not sure it would be suitable to sleep on but of course that's all personal preference. The lining inside the ottoman was hastily stapled on though without care to assure the staples even contacted any of the wood, 90% of the staples were simply able to be plucked out with my fingers, slightly disappointing and I hesitated to even mention it in my review because it doesn't even seem to have any bearing on it's functionality or weaken the structure in anyway just gives you pause as to the long term durability of how the rest is assembled since you can't see it because it's covered. I still give the Duobed 3 stars. In my opinion it is overpriced but overall a decent product, the Owner Edie seems like a lovely person!

> I have had four Duo bed ottomans for several years. With the additioal back supports and bolsters they make a fabulous, extremely comfortable sectional sofa in the daytime. At night there a two perfectly comfortable twin beds with the back bolsters easily lifted off. But hold on, for over three years I have used the four platforms which lock together and form a a 6 ft by 6 ft KING bed. I use a thick fluffy matress pad under the king fitted sheet which works perfectly.

It is nice to know that someone truly cares about their clients and making sure that their hard earned money are spent on excellence.  I own 2 of their ottomans, and countless relative visits, pets and moving surely  would have put any other furniture  out of business but not these too large ottomans. In the world where you get a chair that is mass produced and falls apart just moving from room to room, having a company that sells quality is truly rare and appreciated. I plan on purchasing more products as I move into a larger place.

**Q: Awkward living room layout** *(in Furniture)*

This house did an addition that added great space, but made furniture placement difficult. Now that I finished the flooring, I'm ready for some fresh ideas. I'm ready to get new furniture as well, so all ideas welcome. The problem I'm having is if I move something I block something else. Thanks!

A: You mentioned being ready for new furniture. Have you though about something modular? Duobed makes furniture that you can move around when you need to. **Q: HELP! Crazy “master bedroom” in need of remodel** *(in Design Dilemma)*

How would you modernize this upstairs bedroom in a 1.5 story  Cape Cod? It is a large space, 30.5x12, but the space is not well utilized. I especially am dumbfounded by the “doorway” and unsure how to handle all the built ins. I feel it has potential but it’s very dated and smothering as is

I recently just moved to a smaller apartment in NYC. Me and my girlfriend fell in love with the apartment because it was smaller and renovated. We didn’t calculated all the problems we were going to have we our furniture due to being a little bigger. We have came into conclusion that we have to get smaller furniture for the living room. 

My question is what would be the ideal living room organization. That will include a sofa , small coffee table , a tv on the wall and a tv stand on the wall as well.

A: Duobed designs for small spaces a lot, and the best thing I could see for a sofa is something modular, and maybe custom sized for the space.  We can make corner configurations like the one pictured here in varying sizes. There is storage inside each ottoman, you can separate them to chairs, and you can even rearrange to a bed, for guests.

Door with is only 29 inches

A: Yes. They just screw in. We ship them with the legs on, but they can easily be removed to get the item through a door.  You will also find that the back is completely removable, so you likely would not have to remove the legs to get the individual parts through your door. These are great for small doorways!

**Q: Does this make into a queen sized sleeper?** *(in Product Questions)*

A: This one is a king size.  We have made a Queen as a custom build before. The Ottoman units need to be 30" x 36" for that.
