> Dave repainted our large master bathroom which was overdue for a painting. It is so pretty and now matches the picture I bought for the main wall several years ago. Thank you, Dave, for also finding someone who did a wonderful job regrouting our guest bathroom floor. Our home is almost 16 years old and the original grout was quite worn. My husband and I highly recommend Dave. He is very neat and clean with his work. He even cleaned our light fixtures in the bathroom when reinstalling them over the dry newly painted walls. He's excellent!

> We hired Aura Painting to paint our entire first floor. They set up a consultation at our house to discuss paint colors. At this time they offered suggestions on colors based on how the sunlight and lighting was in each room. They left color samples so that we could determine which colors we felt worked best for us.
> Aura Painting was very professional and kept to their time schedule and estimate.
> They are a full service painting company and we are very happy with the quality of their work.

> Excellent Service, quick response. Dave took the time to explain the process of our project, he completed the project in less time than expected and far exceeded our expectations of how nice he made our basement look. Highly recommend and will hire for any and all future projects.

> I live in a brand new house with all white walls with only paint primer on them. I heard about Aura Painting from a friend that golfs with Dave (the owner) so I trusted the recommendation. I am so happy with the turn out. I now have a beautiful dining room and very high (freshly painted white) foyer & stairwell for people to see when they enter through the front door. The ceilings are high and I didn't have a ladder tall enough so it was no question that I had to hire someone to paint. He even wiped the window at the top of the foyer off for me! I can't wait to finish adding color to the rest of the house! I will def. be calling Dave back. Every "single" woman understands the discomfort of inviting a man into your house alone but he did not make me feel uneasy. The job was done fast, he was neat and tidy so the mess was less intrusive.

> Dave completed an extensive cleaning and painting of our home's exterior, including all woodwork, siding, shutters, windows, doors and all trim. He was extremely meticulous and thorough yet very cost-effective. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend his services.

## Community Q&A

**Q: What paint color would you suggest?** *(in Design Dilemma)*

I'm purchasing this house and would like to increase the curb appeal. What color would you paint the front door, garage door and door beside the garage? The awnings will also be removed.

A: I would definitely take off the awnings, paint the brick white and add shutters on the front. Windowboxes under your two front windows will add some curb appeal. If you can't replace the doors, I would paint the garage and lower door white & stain the front door to be a dark wood color.

**Q: will coral work with floor and sofa and gray wall colors ? I need help** *(in Design Dilemma)*

my living room decorating has been at a standstill I have bought numerous rugs wall art lamps etc only for them to look hideous and be returned to the store a decorator is not in my budget any ideas are appreciated like the beachy theme flooring needs to stay and wall color is gray and needs to stay as well

A: I don't love coral with Gray. I do love crisp white accents with Gray and a main accent color. I attached some sample photos to help explain what I mean. A good rule of thumb - To create a color pop use the same color in THREE or more locations. The Gray walls & Gray furniture alone would be boring; however, you'll notice the turquoise sprinkled throughout and the room becomes more interesting and fun! I think I noticed Red in one of your pictures. Maybe carry that theme through as your color pop.
Another good tip when using Gray is offsetting it with White. Crisp white trim, blinds, curtains, lampshades, throw pillows mixed with your "splash" of color is a great way to brighten up your Gray!
Another way to POP your Gray - Check out these White Blinds! I would definitely add this to your window. They are an inexpensive way to brighten up you gray without breaking the bank.

Take it one step further and throw a curtain rod across the top and a slim panel curtain on each side featuring a color that matches your throw pillows.

Gray with Coral, not my favorite. I would go with any blue & white or red & white would be very clean, as long as you don't overdue it and stay with crisp colors.

I hope this helps :)
Carol
