I was an acquaintance of Ilan when I hired him, so imagine my surprise at the shoddy quality of the work delivered, and at Ilan's argumentative and dismissive response to my complaints along the way. In my experience, work proceeded slowly, debris was left in massive piles in my condo for long periods of time, poor-quality materials were used, and drywall and tiling work were done so poorly that thousands of dollars' worth of tile had to be demo'd and re-purchased. Then I had to hire another contractor to fix the mess and finish the job. Additionally, much of the plumbing and electrical work was not to code, and the measurements specified in the drawings delivered by my designer were not followed.
