Hey Diane!!
I didn't want to hack the other thread anymore so thought I'd start a new thread. I know you said you start in Jan with manure and a few other things but would like anymore info or tips you can give us!!  Like amounts you use, spraying, etc.....

A: Hi Everyone, I have serious issues with my California palms that were planted back in April of this year. The winds beat them up pretty bad in May and June but they were recovering well and then in the last two weeks they have turned brown. I do not know what happened here - unless, when they were planted, they were not given enough space and when the roots expanded to the surrounding soil - it caused them to die. I would really appreciate some advice from anyone. Can these survive and what can I do here. Thank you, John
