> Our experience with BonTech was miserable. The only time Dan seemed polite and reasonable was when he came to quote the job. From that point on it seemed the mantra was " do the least as quickly as possible and get out". The house was exactly in the state of readiness that was agreed to, but Dan immediately started complaining that the job was taking too long because the walls were plaster rather than drywall. He now claims the walls were to be stripped which is absolutely not true. He put in a new service for us and left the old one in place with the wires hanging out, saying there was nothing he could do about it until he sensed my growing frustration and put a cap on it. The quote included rough in of new wiring, and returning to install lights and plugs after drywall and paint. During rough in, he actually said that I could finish up the lights and plugs, that it was easy. Incredible! The light fixtures were brand new showroom models, so assembled but not tightened up. He refused to do this as it wasn't his job. Had I purchased fixtures new in the box, they would all have come disassembled. I wonder who would have assembled them? I tightened them up myself. At one point there was a plug hanging where a wall had been removed and I asked how he planned to deal with it and he said he would just throw it up in the attic and we could cover it with insulation. I told him that was unacceptable, that it should go into a junction box, and he said it would be extra, so I just reinstalled it into a new wall at 4' high myself. Any extras I would request would automatically turn him argumentative. Under counter lights were to be supplied and installed by him and he had purchased more than was required so I asked him to install an extra one over the counter at the stove while he was finishing up and I would pay for it. After he left I recieved a message saying the right parts weren't there, so he couldn't do it. When I checked the box all the correct parts and more were there so I did it myself in 10 minutes. When I let him know his response was " Good for you". I always told him I would pay for any extra work, and did, yet when I called him back for warranty work one time only, his reaction was that he would charge me to return, how fair he was and that he hadn't charged me for any extras. A private home inspector had found a very scorched 220 cable in the new panel at the clamp and this seemed like a pretty serious issue and would hold up the sale of the house so I asked Dan to have a look at it. His immediate response was he would charge me to return, that it wasn't his fault, that it is an old wire and how can he be responsible for and old wire that he had installed into a panel that he had installed. In my opinion, if the wire was in such bad shape, he should have known that and informed me. The wire runs about 4-5' to a junction box, so it would have been easy to replace and I would have paid to change it if it were an issue, but in reality the wire looks in perfectly good condition except for the location that Dan clamped it into the box. You would think this would be a big deal for any electrician to find a scorched wire in a panel he had installed, but Dan just talks a hundred miles an hour, doesn't seem to listen, and then claims it was never said. I became extremely frustrated with his attitude and said he was behaving like a \#%$$@, and that of course was his opportunity to get out of this and hang up.I am going to call the city inspector to see if it was inspected and let them know the issue. I will pay another electrician double to fix this rather than pay Dan to do this. A most unpleasant experience!

> I could not be happier with these electricians. The job was done in a great time frame, and the price was really fair. I was worried about getting anyone in because I am female, know NOTHING about electrical things, and was worried about getting taken advantage of. No only was I happy with the work and price but have given their business cards to all my friends and family. Thank you Dan!

> In March 2017 we needed an upgrade to the electricity supply line. Of the estimates we were given, Dan Sorensen's was the lowest; usually, we associate low-grade work with low estimates, but a talk with Dan made us change our mind. He made all the official arrangements (one official had to be chivvied), came promptly when required, did the work efficiently, cleanly and with a ready smile. There is no indoor trace of the repair that he did, and we are very pleased with the overall result. The final cost was as budgeted. We shall ask him again if we have any further electrical work to be done.
