> I had the pleasure of hiring Wallace Carpentry (John Wallace) for several facets of my extensive home renovation spanning over the course of three years from 2015 through the end of 2017.  The work had to be completed in several phases over the course of various permits, hence the duration of my interface with them.  When we called upon Wallace Carpentry for each project, John was always immediately available to work me in to his busy schedule and always sent Kurt to complete the job in a reasonable and timely fashion very close to his anticipated time to completion. Never once during our extensive project, were we “held up” by John Wallace or any of his highly trained, highly skilled staff.  He and his personnel were impeccably professional, courteous and tidy.  They interfaced cordially and worked well with other trades on the job site.

>      Whole house Installation of impact rated         windows and exterior doors, hardware
>      Whole house installation of interior doors threshold, custom/mitered baseboards, window sills/trim, crown moulding
>      Custom exterior trim including tongue and groove coffered ceilings at front entry and back porch

> Both John Wallace and one of his staff members Kurt, always went the extra mile even beyond the scope of the projects they were hired to complete.  They offered support and advice and always took time with us to enable us to make the correct decision for the scope of our project, budget and our desired outcome.

> One of the most extraordinary examples of their high level of skill and attention to detail: we purchased our hand-scraped distressed wood floors, and as per most builder-grade homes, would normally have a quarter-round molding placed at the edge of the baseboard where the base board meets the floor, hiding the gaps of each hand-scraped floor piece. Because we detest quarter-round molding, at our urging, they custom-scribed each piece of baseboard to the floor using hand drawn templates and hours of “honing” the bottom edge of each baseboard that makes perfect contact with the floor so there are ZERO gaps. I would challenge anyone visiting my home to be able to slide a playing card between the floor and the baseboard; can’t be done!! That’s how good these guys are!!
