The people that gave 5 stars are probably friends of the owner. Send me a message and I will show you 5 homes built by Wagner-Holak that are in poor condition and not what was agreed according to the plans. > I started my custom build process in September 2020. My home sat for 80% of the time. The issues were not COVID related. It was and is poor management. After you sign the contract, you will learn quickly how much they care about building the home of your dream. The owners will make promises in person and print but do not honor. Customer service is non existence. I closed a few days ago and I am seeing cracks in my foundation, missing hardware, missing fixtures, missing a window, have a leak and a host of other things. My advice would be to contact a current homeowner and ask them to "show" you Wagner-Holak's work. **★★★★★ — Bambi Sullivan, April 2021** > Building a custom home has always been a dream of ours. However, we didn’t have a clue on where to begin. We figured that we should start with finding a builder. We interviewed several builders and decided to go with an ‘award’ winning builder with many accolades. Unfortunately, due to unspeakable circumstances, we wasted 6 months and thousands of dollars, and parted ways with the ‘award’ winning builder. We were devastated and almost gave up on our dream home. Until, we met John and Mike at Wagner Holak Custom Homes. They were a Godsend, who took the time to educate us and ease our apprehensions of putting more money into our dream home. We encountered more obstacles with the bank, however John was there every step of the way to do everything in his power to keep our dream alive. Now our dream will become a reality, hopefully by Christmas. No pressure John! We are thankful for John and his team at Wagner Holak. I only wish we would have met with John at the beginning. Our house would probably be built and we would have a few less gray hairs and kept the money lost to the initial builder. My best advice to anyone considering to build a custom home. Call Wagner Holak first. They will be happy to educate you on the whole process. Bonus, is that they build a beautiful home.
