We could not recommend them more highly! They are beyond excellent in every way, from each aspect of the creative design process to seamless implementation of the project design, no matter how simple or complex. They are on the front lines of their industry, constantly expanding the frontier of the concept of 'landscape architecture' and the possibilities one can achieve. They are true visionaries, and they are an absolute pleasure to work with. They are extremely respectful and thoughtful, great listeners, and ask perfect questions. They appropriately give push back, but they also give-in/compromise at the right time as well. They are not show-offs (though they easily could be given how beautiful their work is!). They will think of the things you cannot, and they will take your ideas and put the 'puzzle pieces' together to create the most beautiful, elegant design you likely would not have imagined otherwise – this has been the case repeatedly on our property. Their proposals and ideas seem to be driven by the balanced and objective conversion of art, science, math, and history. > > John and Kim are effectively property whisperers...they are in tune with what makes sense for your home/property/family and what does not. If what you're looking to do costs $10k+ based on the personality of your property, they're going to show you why, and then work with you to reduce the cost as much as possible, in addition to proposing many other possible layouts with reduced costs. If what you're looking to do can be solved with a roll of duct tape, they're going to show you why (and still probably work with you to reduce the cost! :)) They absolutely will not propose to you the most expensive ideas (we went through two landscape architects before John and Kim, so we know this is a common practice in the industry). > > > They take a much-welcomed holistic approach in working with you. That is the generally accepted standard for a comfortable turn-around allowing small delivery trucks to access as well. You can go a bit smaller if need be for cars only.
