Ines did an amazing job of interpreting the design of the context and was very complimentary to the 'architecture'. She assisted us with the kitchen and washroom and she also helped us make decisions with lighting configurations throughout the interior spaces and exterior landscaping features. Ines is most accommodating and enthusiastic to be part of the 'team'. Her previous experience as a 'set designer' really shows in her ability to plan the final product. She kept in touch with the owner, myself and the builder in every phase. And indeed, Ines has an unlimited amount of design ability. I have hired her to do a renovation of a 14 year old condo that I have recently purchased. I have been working with her since April and I am very pleased with her work to date. The demolition and re-framing has now occurred in the condo. Dry walling is just about to begin so it will be several months before the project is completed. What I have found with Ines is that she is very pleasant and professional to deal with. Most important of all is that she is very talented as a designer; She comes up with innovative ideas that are functional, attractive, unique and entirely suitable to my needs and wants. I finds she listens carefully to my concerns and ideas and she understands me as a person. Ines is very timely is responding to my questions and requests. I have watched her work with sub trades and it is clear that they respect her and she is knowledgable about the intracies of their work.The condo is not yet complete but I have full confidence that it will be as lovely as it appears on the drawings. I have a lot of unique ethnic pieces that she has been able to incorporate into the design of the condo which I am thrilled about. One is a lovely carved teak pillar that has been in storage for many years because I did not know how to display it. It took Ines very little time to create a very practical way to put this pillar into the condo and I feel confident it will be it will be place perfectly, thanks to her superb design skills. There have not been any nasty surprises budget wise from Ines. What do you suggest? A: yes. it is from a company called thinkglass in quebec **Q: Where can I purchase towel bar under corner sink? Love it!** *(in Photo Questions)* A: that was part of the sink. but please don;t ask me the make of it as i don;t remember **Q: Where can I get the SS filler panels adjacent to the refrigerator?** *(in Photo Questions)* Were the stainless steel filler panels on each side of the refrigerator from Kitchen Aid? A: that was part of the cabinetry package. essentially it is an mdf or plywood core wrapped by a stainless steel sheet metal place **Q: How / what are the fruit & veggie panels? How are they applied?** *(in Photo Questions)* Just want to compliment you on the lovely panels used here. Really pretty in a kitchen. A: I took prints from a calendar, and a sign company was able to create a process to take off the print layer and apply that to a primed door panel. Afterwards the cabinet finisher applied a commercial grade clear lacquer as on the rest of the millwork for protection. **Q: Who makes this front door?** *(in Photo Questions)* A: I designed it, and it was then custom made locally. It's a pivot door created by Aaron Stevenot in Victoria, BC. It was quite a complicated undertaking, in order to be able to exchange the glass strips in the future, should one break, and it comes with a price tag....but it's so well made, you can move it with the push of your little finger :) **Q: who makes the fireplace surface? Is it tile? Where can I find it?** *(in Photo Questions)* A: It's from a manufacturer called ModularArts.
