We were constrained by county size restrictions and Stephen and his team were the only architects we found with a plan and a track record for gaining approval of designs beyond the size limits. They listened to our design needs/wants and developed a series of conceptual designs for us. Their Site Plan Review (SPR) submission was very thorough and professional. It was approved without drama. We scaled back the design for cost reasons and they worked with us to make the changes. The permit document package they submitted was very thorough and we were able to get our permit more quickly than expected. Throughout the process the team was responsive and professional. They recommended top notch subcontractors for surveying, geotechnical analysis/engineering, General Contractors, etc. Now that the house is built, we really appreciate the subtle design aspects – the layout is perfect for our family, the design captures mountain and plains views better than we could have imagined, and the feel of the whole house is a perfect fit for us. No project of this scale is without hiccups and Stephen and his team were professional and resolution oriented when issues popped up.
